Ever heard of urgency, Skype or ... telecon calls. Hard to believe that they haven't reached a conclusion already based on their examination. It is as if this Order is forcing the Defense to try to put it all together.

Dr Spitz (his report is not complete and the reason is SECRET)
Dr Logan (didn't provide it in time for the state's deposition ... they've been "thwarted in their attempts to reach him)
Dr Reichs (wants to meet with Rodriguez and she travels a lot)
Dr Rodriguez (recently retained ... taphonomy ... was he ever approved?)

From the motion:

"The Defendant, Miss Anthony has been declared indigent for costs. This has limited her ability to have all of her experts together to properly consult with and furnish all information needed, in order for them to reach well-informed opinions. In light of the Court's recent decision precluding testimony that is not either in reports or disclosed in deposition. The Defense would like to have the opportunity to meet with experts Reichs and Rodriguez prior to them rendering their opinions as they may have additional opinions after review of additional material. The Defense has a unique opportunity in the very near future and is requesting an additional 45 days to comply with those two witnesses and a reasonable amount of time for Doctors Logan and Spitz."

Will Baez be requesting travel expenses for the hook up? After all, his client is indigent dontcha know, he's working for 3$ an hour, and desperately needs face time to consult with the 2 expert witnesses that will save his girl.

Mr Mason's office was reported by the SA as having said that the judical deadlines mean nothing and seems that was 100% correct. Mr Mason also said that the defense wasn't required to hand over discovery. Seems that was correct too. Mr Mason said he would walk KC out of the courthouse, arm in arm, a free woman. That seems more probable all the time. She may just get time served. Just like the cheque case. :maddening:

Sounds so much like the additional hours for investigation excuse. We need more time we are still working with our experts on additional stuff.

IMO the Defense strategy is to do everything to get the trial pushed back ... at any cost.

ummm, I seem to recall on several occasions that Baez was told to use Skype or an equivalent and that travel was not necessary ...

Besides ... didn't he have a bunch of his experts together to examine evidence at OSCO ?? WTH ??
And let's not forget the high-profile dog and pony shows since the beginning ...
