I agree with you, and this is what is wrong with people today. They should be doing it for Hailey, and for her brother and her baby sister. Put all the prejudices aside and look for Hailey. No matter how one feels about the parents, this child needs to be brought home.

I was hoping that once Hailey's Angels had a chance to recover from their encounter with BD, that cooler heads would prevail. I am glad that they have decided to put this incident to the side, and make it all about Hailey. That is more than BD has done in the past 8 weeks..... and sadly, probably Hailey's whole life.

JMO/MOO & all that stuff!!


ETA: Hate to break the news to BD, but landfills are ugly & dirty. Wonder if she called the searchers and told them not to look there??:innocent:

If Desiree Young reacted this way... I would give her more leeway. It'd still bother me but I could have understood it more. However, she has done nothing but thank ALL searchers. Saying of course she hopes that her baby is not out there but if he is she wants him found... and everywhere they look is somewhere he is NOT. Desiree goes to events, thanks people and it's clear her priority is her child.

I could name many other parents who have done the same.

If Billie had been out passing out fliers everyday and traveling around looking for her child and doing everything she could to get the #1 suspect to clear themselves... I would give her the same leeway. She would have much more reason to be upset. If you are really doing everything you can to find a live child, hearing only about the people looking for a body could be a slap in the face.

I have done dozens of slide shows and I would have added pictures of ALL search efforts. The complete search for Hailey. People handing out fliers, following up on tips, LE investigating, people decorating the bridges, as well as those searching the fields.

However, that would have upset Billie too, because that would have included Clint... not her, because she hasn't searched. So really, no matter what pictures they put up... they couldn't win.

Have any of the children's parents who were there, complained about the pictures that were shown? I have heard others say that the children didn't need to see the pictures. I have not heard anyone say "my child was traumatized by seeing a picture of a ditch." They found socks on a search, they are not only looking for a body.

Focusing on the fact that there is that many people who care enough to LOOK for Hailey or anything related to her, even after 2 months... should be the focus. We were questioned in September because my daughter looks so much like Kyron. My daughter thought it was totally awesome that people were still looking for him after 3 months.

If a parent does not want their child to see pictures of a field where they are searching for Hailey... then this probably wasn't the event to take them to. Odds were pretty good they would see or hear something related to the search for Hailey at an event specifically about the search for Hailey. :waitasec:

I really cannot blame Hailey's Angels for the way they initially reacted. Absolutely, they should have waited until they calmed down to comment. But with how emotionally invested WE are in Hailey... can you imagine being out there searching for 55 days... while Billie stays in her house.... and then have her react to you that way? I am devastated FOR these searchers. They are not professionals. You are doing it for the child but it's a little for the family as well... that would be a huge slap in the face. Huge.

I am not surprised that they changed their mind and decided to keep searching. I expected that. But after 55 days, I can allow them a few hours of exasperation with someone who is ungrateful for what they have been doing... when they should be the most grateful.

I hope that if Hailey is out there to be found, that the volunteer group does find her, in a way. Many of them seem to have been there since the start and really have the best intentions. I'm glad they will continue, but I wish they would clear up whether or not LE is working with them, as far as where to search; I have read bits and pieces that contradict this issue.
 
Wow. So tell me, Billie, do you think she's with a loving family that's taking care of her somewhere too? Unbelievable. She could be Cindy Anthony's twin. Yes, Billie, dirty places are EXACTLY where people are going to look whether you like it or not. How immature and ridiculous of her to say this to people giving their personal time to find her daughter.

And, further down in that article, it says that KTXS is trying to obtain a copy of the video that played at the dinner.

That's her perception. They HOPE and WILL PROVE it...TO HER.

She feels she's under attack. Whether that be something personal or just the fact that they are searching for a Hailey who may not be with us any longer. I'm betting on the former, since she attacked this group, and yet stands up for the others. I'd like to see the video.

It would be very hard for me to watch as people searched for my daughter, knowing she could be out there....and feeling helpless about it at the same time. But 1. What has she been doing since the PC? But 2. For her to come out with the comments she has is just mind boggling. She is so focused on wanting to believe SA is not involved or hiding that fact, she has forgotten what everyone else IS focused on. IMO. It's time for another trip and "discussion" with NG.

First, THANK YOU for searching. I was surprised to hear that she was there--- because I don't think she wanted to be either. I think she felt she had to "get out of the house again" as she had when MK was there the last time. Either BD is in TOTAL denial to cope or is somehow involved and has info she has not told LE...which would shine a very bad light on her personally or as a mother. JMO

I had thought that too and posted a map for it and other info on the SAR's thread. Apparently the terrain changes near Big Spings and there use to be a quarry there..200' cliffs in area...and Moss Creek/Lake is only off the main drag a little ways.

When I read it was not HUNDREDS of volunteers that showed up to search, but dozens I was shocked! Where was everyone? I understand the entire town can't search but it seemed like a little less than had been anticipated.

Strangers are willing to risk getting injured or quite possibly dying, while trying to locate Billie Jean Dunn's child! People drop dead of heart attacks every day, but for this paticular woman it was after arriving home from searching for Hailey!
The fact that BD had the nerve to say anything other than "I can't thank you all enough" aggrivates me!If Billie wants them to go away, confess and tell LE where Haileys body is. DONE! or she can just keep :couch:

IMO her attitude has made people not care to search...
Which is why the locals should be even more determined to find Hailey!
People should show up in masses next weekend :panic: ~shock and awe Billie!
Show her no one cares what she thinks or feels, IT's about finding HAILEY~
We are going to find her! No matter how rude she cares to get.:cursing:

Respectfully, BBM. I have to wonder why they do not want to work/partner with the other national, well-known organizations that are involved in the search for Hailey.

Well from the few little snippets that were shown, I most certainly did NOT see anything that would be offensive to anyone. In fact, that was touching letter that scrolled across the screen in the one part.

I think it is actually Billie they do not want to 'work' with. I would think that if Billie were helping decide where to search that nothing woulod ever be found.

If they don't want to effectively work with the other search groups to find Hailey, then IMO, they have made a poor decision. I can't fathom why they wouldn't work with the other search groups. It's not about Billie, it's about Hailey.

And, did I miss something about that Billie is deciding where people search?
