IMO the whole "tainted by the arrest" question is irrelevant here because there was nothing wrong with the arrest for stealing property. There was probable cause for it. The question here is whether that (perfectly proper) arrest was "undone" enough that a reasonable person would have felt they were no longer "in custody" later on when talking to LE.

I know it's based on law, and I'm not a lawyer, but I am a reasonable person and if I were uncuffed and freely moving about in my home, going to my room alone, I would not feel I was "in custody".

I like LDB's style of being direct, sequential, and clear in all her speach. Her voice and manner of speaking is easy to listen to. THis will be very beneficial in the jury trial. CM is very eay to tune out. JB is offensive and argumentative in a condesceding way. Juries will not enjoy the DT's turn at the podium. IMO

1st july 15 -16 - patrol officers that arrived on the scene - these officers did not come to defendants home by surprise - but were summoned to home by her mother - officers ask questions to find out what going on - 1st officers thought they were there about stolen vehicle - 911 consider stolen vehicle low priority call

LDB reminds the court the focus of the questioning was NOT on KC but was on Zenaida. It is on top of all of the forms: ZFB was the suspect and the focus.

Ms. Anthony was only treated as a WITNESS of a possible kidnapping.

HAH - Linda just said that on all the statements the suspect in the missing persons case, was Zeinida-Fernandaz-Gonzales, NOT Caysey Anthony.
