Billie and SA just hanging out together on St. Patrick's Day...in spite of everything...like nothing ever happened...glad their day was ruined, at least.

My guess is that SA is on a very short leash and under constant surveillance. He may have been picked up long enough to be taken to the Sheriff office to have the body search done and released. I guess we will hear tomorrow. But all MSM is reporting that is what the warrant was for.

So it is possible that SA is MIA? LE searched houses and took evidence but we just don't know if they actually searched SA's body or, for that matter, even know where SA is?

I would think they (LE) have. They couldn't have charged BD with ostructing apprehension if that hadn't apprehended that subejct - could they? Or could he have "gotten away" and that's extactly why they charged BD?

I just wanna know if SA has been accounted for tonight?

I tend to think that SA was at least detained and searched, because if he wasn't found in the home---they could not have arrested BD for lying...they had to have found him at her house in order for her to have hindered his apprehension in the manner described. IDK, this is sort of confusing though, because no reports of him actually being arrested.

I think they could charge her even if he got away, or especially if he got away, as long as they knew he had been there and her lie helped him get away.

I wonder- if it's not an external hard drive they are searching for on in the articles on his body could it be a key? Like to a room or a safe, etc that he keeps taped to his body?

I am not sure I agree...I think (strangely) Shawn maybe the week link & either cave or make a deal before BD. I lean towards this theory because of the interview the girls did and he was saying discussing his current lack of having a life, he is worried about being arrested, seemingly concerned BD might make a deal and then I was reading today (sorry I don't know where to find the link) but apparently he has been inconsistent with statements, has made admissions and then taken them back so to speak. If BD has any involvement, I think he would roll on her.

LE is really going to play one off the other at this point and it is going to very interesting to see what happens.

Dee,:seeya: I sooo hope you are right. I would love nothing more at this point in time to see them both pay the price "if" they are guilty of HD's disappearance. Someone needs to face justice. I have PH's (?) statement stuck in my head about BD being street sauvy, smart, tough girl attitude, then SA with him not talking much, seems they could believe as long as nothing is coming forward (evidence=body), "we're free" attitude. The two of them have probably made some stupid blood pact that they would not roll on the other. The thing is, is one squeals on the other, they are both going to pay with jail time. So as long as they can avoid it, I think they will. JMHO

That appears to be the case, but we don't really know.

If they did a correct total body search and photo shoot at least maybe he was humiliated !

I had suggested earlier that he fled. Clint said they parked in the back of the house so BD may have distracted the officers at the front while he took off. Wish we knew.

They went to her house looking for him, so I'd assume they had good info (surveillance probably) that let them know exactly where to find him. She, of course, didn't know that and they probably surprised her. Her first instinct was probably to lie. They probably charged her because they wanted a reason to arrest her---not because he got away.

This site has pics and says that even the FBI was at BD's house...http://www.elliscountyobserver.com/?p=21837, so I doubt he made a great escape. JMO

Yes they could. I posted earlier about a neighbor that did that. The guy the deputies wanted went out a side window while my neighbor was saying he wasn't there. He got cuffed right there to a railing while LE went after the perp.

I hope that when LE is serving a warrant, they'd cover all exits with an officer...IDK whether that's protocol or not, but it would make sense to do so.

I keep reading all around the net, that this doesn't bring us any closer to finding Hailey. I tend to disagree. This they found opened up so many doors to get search warrants. It has stifled to a great degree the Billie and Shawn show of indigence that anyone would even look in their direction. The manipulation and the misstatement made by Billie. How many people did she try to throw under the bus and involve?

To get a judge to sign a warrant for a body search, there had to be evidence provided in an affidavit to the judge which left no doubt that Shawn is at least one person involved in this child in my opinion.

Now could they have even hoped that BD would protect her man by lying for him saying he wasn't there? I can't believe she acted to recklessly. They are being watched 24/7.

There will be no deals IMO until whoever is looking for one tells where Hailey is. Billie and Shawn have thumbed their nose at LE, insulted them and insulted the intelligence of everyone she tried to peddle her story to. Why did the big networks not jump into this story? It didn't feel right in my opinion is the reason.

I think what happened tonight is just a tiny piece of what will come down very soon. This particular incident may have nothing to do with finding Hailey, but it has broken this case wide open in my opinion. The handwriting is on the wall.

No body, no deals. That is how this is all going to come down. Now they have a choice. Take a chance on rolling on the other one for the sweeter deal or face some dire consequences. One of them are going to talk and my guess is it is going to be Shawn. And never doubt, that a a close friend or relative may be working with LE.

Has anyone seen any confirmation that LE did, IN FACT, serve that search warrant on SA's body? We know BD was arrested for saying SA wasn't there - but WAS HE THERE? Did LE find (or search) him out and serve that warrant? Or, did SA sneak out the back and is MIA?

I can't find anywhere that says SA was, IN FACT, found at BD's or his mom's or his grandma's, and that warrant was served and his "body" was searched.

Officers were able to carry out both search warrants, the official said, but he declined to release what they were looking for or what was found.

Oh, one more thought! I know it was reported that the hinderance was to do with SA's body, but I just got to thinking, I wonder if LE wanted to further search BD's home, had a search warrant, and she would not let them in knowing she had already lied about SA not being there. I know they had a search warrant for Gma's house also, just made me think, searching one home why not the other? I also know there were previous searches carried out at BD's home in the early days of this investigation, but not SA's Gma's.

UPDATED 8:30 P.M. Billie Jean Dunn and Shawn Adkins have apparently been “picked up” by officials from the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department, according to Pete Kampfer, Colorado City city manager .
