We need a side beside of BJD from a couple of weeks ago and the mug shot, the difference is astounding. Wow. It' wearing on her for sure.

Stop with the snarky posts about BD, Shawn's private parts and this whole situation. You know this is not tolerated here at WS., Take your snark somewhere else.

This is the third warning and from this point on TO's are going to be the solution.

If you would like to make a point that she looks tired, looks worried, looks scared go ahead and do it in a way that is not bashing. STOP the rude remarks.

I really think there are lawyers out there who have offered pro bono services. The ones who've kept up with the case, probably cringe at her being unrepresented. & then I think about how Casey Anthony kind of just stumbled onto Jose Baez...kind of mind boggling, isn't it? MOO.

I think if she has not received an offer for legal services, people around her are probably calling around on her behalf.

I hope like Terri Horman, she gets the best of the best. We don't want anything overturned later based on an incompetent defense.

& I'm nervous that's what she's banking on. In a roundabout way, it makes sense...to appear completely clueless, be unrepresented, & then turn everything between her and LE into a he said/she said. MOO.

Wow. I can't believe she didn't let the court appoint her a lawyer! Unless she somehow found the money to put a good one on retainer, and we just don't know it yet. :innocent:

Maybe she plans on defending herself :floorlaugh:

Was she in detox? It's stated in this video. Meaning she's probably going through withdrawals from something and I don't think it's cigarettes. http://bigcountryhomepage.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=353186

I can't get that video to play without skipping, but I thought she asked the deputy to be moved out of the lobby because she was objecting to being filmed. She wanted privacy. But I do see her rubbing her nose and face like we have seen her do in other video's. Is that a nervous tic?

WHY would Billie LIE to LE about Shawn being there anyway?

Has she previously agreed to stay away from him (or been ordered to)?

Does she not KNOW that LE is WATCHING and LISTENING?

Hello??????

It just keeps coming back to the point that she is not telling the truth, and considering that LE is trying to find HER DAUGHTER, her FLESH AND BLOOD, what she is doing and saying is completely wrong and in the end, quite detrimental to Hailey being found.

Having withdrawals might also explain why she didn't accept the attorney. She's messed up and can't think straight IMO. The officer tells the other to put her BACK in detox so she was there before being filmed.

Howard county is CP and bestiality per the Toombs interview right now. The flash drive, the police are still looking at. Howard county is where mom's computer was seized.

Well the detox room would be a room with a monitor so they could watch her. I got the impression she just wanted to be taken out of the area where she was being taped. I'll never understand the self rightousness. That is the part that makes me angry.

She is in custody and still trying to call the shots. I'm glad they moved her though or she would claim her rights were abused.

BBM-I don't know how advanced the jail is there, if in fact it is an actual detox
area or (like someone else posted) an eloquent way of saying "drunk tank".
Some drugs in order to detox, one must be under medical supervision as side effect from drug withdrawals can be life threatening. We don't know for sure what BD might have been taking, how often and how long are factors as well. I don't know how LE handles these situations.
JMO, I think LE put BD in the detox area because it was away from other inmates and would cause less ruckus in the jail.

Just got home...There is justice!!!! :maddening:

Hope she doesn't make bail. Keep her there and let her think of what she has done. :behindbar

Short Interview with Shawn Adkins on KVMC/KAUM Radio coming up, if anyone can listen to their live feed?

  • #336
SA was apparently on the porch of Billie's house while Billie was in jail (per this interview). Media lady asked him if he wanted to say anything and he said no, everything has been said.

I tried to listen to it, but my husband had to call me right then and decided to gab.

LE has to do this before bringing anyone to jail. Then when fit for confinement, they are brought over to jail.

I don't know whether BD is planning to do this, but it's pretty common for people who don't have money and are in on fairly minor charges like this to just sit out the time -- usually by the time the case comes up, they've been in long enough that even if there's a jail-time penalty, it's for time served. No lawyer involved.
