I don't know about Texas but in This county you can Bond out but still have to wait up to 12 hours to be processed but then again she is in that teeny tiny town...:floorlaugh:

When an arrestee is brought into the Booking area, if they appear to be incapacitated by either drugs or alcohol they can be placed in detox. From the video clip we saw of Billie at the jail, she did not appear to be incapacitated. What I think is that she did not want to be videotaped while waiting to be booked. The detox cell would be a safe and private place to hold her until she could be booked.

*In our state an arrestee can be placed on a bench or in a holding cell for up to 6 hours before being booked.

*Earlier in the thread someone was mentioning about a body cavity search. This is never done. All that can be done is to make the arrestee squat and cough, bend and spread. They willl be showered and have to use de-licing shampoo before dressing out in jail uniform.

I would imagine that Billie was placed in a cell by herself because of being high profile.

I was a Booking/Classification Lieutenant, and most all jail or correctional facilities follow pretty much the same procedures, IMO. If Billie did have a Hailey tattoo, it would be notated when being booked on AFIS. There would be a description of the tattoo and the location of it.

I am so happy about Billie's arrest. I found out through emails, LOL, then came here to read as much as I could before having to go to bed! I am just now catching up.

Thanx for the info. I think even if she didn't look intox/drugged they probably asked her if she had taken drugs, alcohol, if she need a doctor, etc, so maybe she said yes to doing pres pills?

I know it was only 650 bucks, but it still irks me that someone paid to get her out. If she's really out. I know how MSM has been so far in this case, so I don't know whether to believe it or not. Sheesh.

One of my sons was arrested once for doing donuts in the park. He was held for around 36 hours, 24 hours after he was bonded out. That was my first and only experience with law enforcement, bail bondsmen, etc.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that...

I can't figure out the dynamics of their relationship...it seems to me like the abuse or trying to hold the upper hand might just go both ways. Billie may be scared of him, but she probably knows stuff about him that could get him in big trouble---and he knows the same type of stuff about her.

She seems so loyal to a man whom she has no real ties to (not married, no kids)...and he's suspected in her daughter's disappearance. That tells me she is either terrified of him doing something to her, or that she's involved as well.
