And than to throw Clint's name in the mix as well when he says they are not even in the same book!!!!

Whenever Billie is hit with another credibility issue, she tries to align herself with Clint:

1. The "birth control" conversation - she says she and Clint talked to Hailey about it
2. After Clint's off-the-record Hyatt interview - she says she and Clint love each other
3. Her "I told Hailey not to leave the house, she must have been abducted by traffickers" story - sucked Clint right into that one...
4. Now, she's busted and talks about how she and Clint are doing everything possible to find Hailey. What exactly is it that Billie is doing to find Hailey? Hiding the suspect, doing drugs, alienating searchers...

Please, it's an insult to Clint and the general public that she keeps doing this, imo.

When buying or selling street drugs, they are often in a bottle with no label. I learned this in the Cummings case. Now, the question is when was the last time that BD filled her prescription and how many pills are missing from that prescription. If there is an inordinant amount not in the bottle with the label, then BD might have some answering to do as to where they went, and why she split her prescription out the way she did.

How did SA get to her house? If she felt comfortable enough to lie to LE that he was there, then that tells me he didn't drive himself. Where is the white car? Was it the one in front of Granny's house in the video? Was that car actually SA's and not BD's, and why the van was "donated" to her?

This case is CRAZY.

Friday, 3 p.m. Update:
In a statement to Bigcountryhomepage.com's Andrew Carlson, Billie admitted lying to police about the whereabouts of Shawn Adkins. She didn't want to explain why. She said Shawn was at her house because he wanted to talk to her about something, but she didn't specify what.

The drug charge against her is bogus, she said, because while her name wasn't on the label, it was her own prescription.

Billie Jean Dunn admitted this afternoon to lying to police about the whereabouts of her former live-in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.

After her release from the Mitchell County Jail, Dunn briefly addressed the media outside her home in Colorado City this afternoon.

“He (Adkins) had come over here on his own and I had called his mother to come get him,” Dunn said.

Dunn was asked if she was lying about not knowing what happened to her daughter, Hailey Dunn, who was last seen Dec. 27.

“I am not lying," Dunn said. "Clint (Hailey's father) and I are doing everything we can to look for her (Hailey).”

A reporter needs to ask Billie:


Do you call his mother right away every time he drops in uninvited, or do you let him stay awhile first?
How often does Shawn drop in on his own?
Who gives him a ride to your house?
Did he knock on the door, use his own key, or sneak in a window?
If you wanted him gone, why didn't you tell police he was there uninvited?

Whether she has a prescription for the pills or not, buying them in unlabeled bottles off the street is an illegal drug transaction. Maybe they were for her personal use (1 crime), or maybe she bought them illegally to sell them illegally (2 crimes). Either way, her explanation of the charges being bogus is a bogus excuse...

I think you do amazing at multi-tasking grams! Billie says that the charge was bogus because she had a prescription for the pills (even though the name on the bottle didn't match up to her). So, she either bought someone else's prescription or (as you speculated) bought street drugs with no name on the label. Either way, it's illegal. She tried that excuse before, saying she bought prescription drugs (but implying she didn't buy them from a pharmacy or a doctor). I think Billie's thinking is that if she has a prescription for it, we'll all consider it legal no matter where she fills it. She thinks we're ignorant. JMO..

BD was a LVN. BD knows the laws regarding labeled prescription medications. The laws pertaining to labels on prescription medication pertain to every single person, including BD. She knows the laws, as this is one of the Cardinal Rules of nursing.

I lied about SA and his whereabouts but I am not going to explain why.

No I didnt lie about Hailey.

My prescription bottle does not have my name on it.

But it is my prescription.
