Friday, 3 p.m. Update:
In a statement to Bigcountryhomepage.com's Andrew Carlson, Billie admitted lying to police about the whereabouts of Shawn Adkins. She didn't want to explain why. She said Shawn was at her house because he wanted to talk to her about something, but she didn't specify what.

The drug charge against her is bogus, she said, because while her name wasn't on the label, it was her own prescription.

my attempt at understanding Billiespeak.......
Chances are BD has a prescription for the drug she was caught with. The problem is that dang doctor of hers only gave her a prescription for 2 pills a day for 30 days which comes to 60 pills in a month. Billie's tooth hurts so bad at times (not just a lil bit) that she finds she needs to take 10 pills a day which comes to 300 pills in a month. Since that dang doctor won't give her a prescription for 300 pills because he is more concerned about the law than Billies tooth pain, she needs to gather those pills anyway she can. But it's not a problem, because she has a prescription that says she is allowed to take them. :innocent:

BD was a LVN. BD knows the laws regarding labeled prescription medications. The laws pertaining to labels on prescription medication pertain to every single person, including BD. She knows the laws, as this is one of the Cardinal Rules of nursing.

Not only does she know the law, but everyone who takes prescription drugs should know the law. Here in Texas if you have drugs on you they better be in the proper bottle and not in your pocket or pill box. jmo

I find it completely fascinating. I grew up in small towns (200, 800, 2000) and everyone knew EVERYONE'S business. I find it fascinating that she can say these things without knowing everyone knows better. I mean, they went to her house looking for Shawn. DUH. They went there because they knew he was there. You know, if SA went to all that trouble to have someone drop him off at BJD's to discuss "something". Why didn't he just pick up his handy dandy cell phone and call her (on her handy dandy cell phone)?

Why go over there on someone else's gas and time, only to have her say she called his mommy to come pick him up. THEN to tell LE that he wasn't there - when they were trying to serve a search warrant on his person.
