Funny, she "says" she hired an attorney - but yet, doesn't give them a name. At least SA put out his attorney's name (if he is still his attorney).

Nope, this is all just hot air from BD - I won't believe it until we get a name and even just a "no comment" from this "newly hired" attorney.

If she does have a lawyer, do you think she will tell the truth about her involvement or keep covering up for Shawn? Will her lawyer talk to her about the implications she is facing and will Billie be ready to accept a plea bargin? OR this is just a ploy to keep media and LE at bay until Hailey is found, while she is going places with Shawn but not at her house.

rut roh... another update~~~ seems they were spotted together on Sunday too!

Monday, 2:15 p.m. Update:
According to the Snyder Daily News, an entry on the blotter at the Scurry County Law Enforcement Center Sunday afternoon stated a woman called and asked to speak to an officer on the telephone in reference to both Dunn and Adkins being together at the caller’s residence looking for someone.
The officer responding stated there was not a vehicle at the location and no contact was made.

Billie finally got a lawyer!

I seriously thought that was never going to happen. We'll see how long the no talking to the media lasts, though. Who else things a lot of statements are going to be coming out through her lawyer now? *raises hand*

She's just doing the Anthony thing, getting a lawyer as her new mouthpiece. Just wait. This woman cannot be silent for long or she'll explode.

ETA: Two days, Sat and Sun, she was seen with SA? So much for her fake protective/no trespassing order...why am I so not surprised? Let me guess, her "order" was a piece of construction paper drawn on with crayon.

I hope that new lawyer knows what he or she is getting into...and with what money did she hire a lawyer? If I hear that she mysteriously rounded up 350,000 for a lawyer, I will hit the roof!

Monday, 2 p.m. Update:
Billie Dunn tells KRBC's Jessica Reyes she has hired an attorney and is no longer able to speak with the media.
Dunn was scheduled to do an interview with Reyes at 3 p.m Monday and canceled.

Well, 'getting a lawyer' didn't stop SA from talking to the media. I don't think for a minute it will stop BD either. She'll just use it as an excuse when it suits her, and speak out when she feels like it. MOO Just more games and drama.
