this woman has repeated herself many times now. the witness. d. simms asks the same question a million different ways and the witness says:

again that is not the same as post mort hair banding....

THE IRONY is that this is for HHJP's benefit,in rendering a decision,and I bet he already knows enough to understand the expert's finding.Defense lawyer just sounds somewhat ignorant .

DS please, just. give. it up. You are not going to trip this witness up.

Witness is not budging on her testimony. She is fantastic!

Was there cheese in the trunk??? Don't think so Dorothy!

Yep, no water, no dirt, no cheese, no food whatsoever! Where is DS getting that there was water/dirt in the trunk?

maybe Joypath could write a thesis and have it delivered before this is over. I'm pretty sure she'd have plenty of time.

highlight of the day so far at 1:29.00 (approx) of witness had a long pause after a question and stated. "I was waiting to hear an objection"

UMMM: DCS exposing hair to the enzymes in HAIR DYES causes "hair discoloration" aka hair darkening! BUT NOT "ROOT BANDING, POST MORTEM characteristics! :seeya::seeya::seeya:
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

There's evidence that if you expose a live hair to an enzyme (ie, cheese) it can cause a hair to darken.

Witness: yes -- BUT not post-mortem root banding.

So - cheese can make a hair dark, but it CANNOT cause post-mortem root banding!!!

Good thing there wasn't a box of Clairol in the trunk!!

I feel like I'm watching "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead" except it isn't clever

ICA hands DS her scribbled "tips and pointers". DS doesnt even look at it...

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

DCS did NOT LOOK at the yellow sheet the inmate handed her!!!!!!!!!!:great::great::great::great::great:

MUCH needed break!!!!

I can not believe Casey can be so stoic while they are talking about post mortem death bands... She can not show any emotion for poor Caylee.

Just got in ....can anyone give a brief update while we are in break?TIA
