Ds can keep this up for the next 2 days and there's no way the witness is going to say any outside element is going to cause the post-mortem band. No amount of cheese or meat tenderizer is going to save her. Why doesn't she just stop wasting the courts time!

UMMM: DCS exposing hair to the enzymes in HAIR DYES causes "hair discoloration" aka hair darkening! BUT NOT "ROOT BANDING, POST MORTEM characteristics! :seeya::seeya::seeya:
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Thanks for your opinions....the longer this goes on I will have roots to show----because they will be pulled out of my head.....and they are dark--NOT DUE TO CHEESE---and they will not have the death band....BUT they are dark....and they will be pulled out...

didn't like that HHJP suggested that there is more from DS.....oh my:banghead:

No slimy PI babysitting ICA during the break today - just Medina sitting chatting - Medina who obviously knows the cameras are on her.

Was wondering how long it would be before MiM (used to distinguish Michelle Medina from our much-beloved MusicMan) scooted into place beside KC.

A hair from a decomposing body was found in the Pontiac. The hair was tested with Mitochondrial DNA and found to be that of Caylee Marie. (because Cindy and Casey are still alive) Casey said to Tracey: "well I'm alive" when they announced the finding of the hair on television.

INsession is speaking of the hair banding. Saying the defense is going to say the food enzymes caused the darkness on the hair. But the state witness was adamant that she can distinguish between the two.

FBI said: it is indicative of post mort.

OK, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it seems to me that DS is conflating discolouration and post-mortem root banding; is that correct?

Linda Richmund (aka Medina) at defense table for some "coffee tawk"!

Correct. :)

maybe Joypath could write a thesis and have it delivered before this is over. I'm pretty sure she'd have plenty of time.

GEE THANKS! :floorlaugh: I've already juggled 3 cases (yep, multi-tasking!!!) this am and had to leave in the middle of the "objectathon" for a conference call!:maddening::maddening:

So do defense attorneys always show up so ill prepared or just the pro-bono ones?

  • #432
ICA sitting at the table alone, looks over JB cell phone sitting on the table...Me thinks she wants so bad to peruse that cell phone...LOL

  • #433
ICA doesn't seem to think anything is funny today. Hehehe.

I think that it is more telling that she is showing no emotion at all. Wait until we get to the trunk smell. She, of all places to go on July 15th, 2008, she went into the garage and sat in there with her car... smell and all. She may just have some fond memories of her accomplishment (murdering Caylee) when they get to that issue. She sure knows a lot more about decomposing bodies in trunks... she threw one out into those woods after it had been in her trunk for 2.6 days.

Dr. Henry Lee is being brought up by INsession. Jean says he found 17 hairs that did not have post mort banding. Only one hair was found with post mort.

Witness is adamant it was full post mort banding. will not say it is from a dead body. but will not back off of saying it was full mort.

Just got in ....can anyone give a brief update while we are in break?TIA

Sure - Simms questioning FBI person. "Blah blah blah?"
FBI person: No, not the same as death band post-mortem root banding.
Simms: "Blah blah blah"
Ashton: Objection
HHJP: Sustained

That's about it.....:great:

She's trying but so far, it isn't working. Is it my imagination or does KC seem very tense and serious today? She's gotten a little thinner also.

What's really disgusting is that Medina always seems to be so happy to be chatting with ICA. Ick.

ICA looks very pouty today. I think she must be realizing that just like the "custodial" statements she made and the visitations with her parents AKA "agents of the state" the hair is gonna come into trial! Yay! Love it that her smirkiness is gone!
