I think HHJP is enjoying this. Did anybody get a screen cap of the big grin on his face when Ashton objected again?:floorlaugh:

I do like this witness. She is straight and to the point.

No disrespect intended to DS, but I am very serious here, I feel like I'm watching a failing law student in a mock trial.

As badly as DCS is doing, can you imagine how bad it could be if Jose was asking the questions?

  • #565
Good grief!! thats all i have to say lol

I think HHBP was going to explode, so took a break. He said they had spent 1 hr 40 min of this topic.
I think he's already back to the level of impatience he was at before the break. Having to school her after almost every question.

Is DS going to carry on like this for 2-3 days?

Nah. What could they possibly come up with? If the cheese doesn't fit, acquit? Hopefully the trial is going to be more disciplined than these hearings. I think HHJP is going to put his foot down more come trial time. And I doubt there will be any dramatic demonstrations to make the jury gasp either. I'm not worried at all about this being another OJ because it won't.

From your typed words to God's ears. I do not think any of us can take longer than a couple of months.

Wow! JA is really getting his revenge for all of the pointless and petty objections DCS kept lighting up with at the depo's. He is showing her how it is done and is not giving an inch. I know she is primarily a medical malpractice lawyer, is this really her first time going up against a state prosecutor?

If the trial goes anything like this hearing, those poor people on the jury are all going to die of old age or boredom before ever rendering a verdict. :maddening:

Wow, I can see why YM had a problem with being on standby. I mean seriously, he's probably sitting there and thinking, I have to put off my other work for this crap?

watch it you are "vilifying" him....but she has consulted with him a few times....

After the objections are sustained, DS flips pages in her book and makes little squiggy marks, she must be running out of pages soon, no? She clearly has no idea where she's even going with her line of questioning.

On another note, I see no issues with this Skype thing, no argument for having to expend tons of cash to fly people into Orlando.

LDB is so calm and quiet today. Maybe she's just numb at this point. Not even a facial expression.

  • #575
I thought when DCS's started her questioning she said she only had a few questions??

Laboratory enzymatic digestion can cause banding?

Dorothy: I can probably simplify this article for you but do you understand the article? Ack - are you serious Dorothy?

Who thinks the witness has much more knowledge than fuzzy? Me thinks so!!! Cheese, meat tenderizer, blah blah blah.

Even the layman (me) has already figured out that no environmental elements effect the death band.
