I didn't watch all of it, but from what I saw, it appears that the defense was attempting to take this as an opportunity to prove or disprove the assertions and side track the issue. I believe the prosecution did a great job at keeping this on track and in context for a frye hearing. I think this motion by the defense will be denied. (apologies if I used wrong terminology).
Agreed.

Simms failed to impress, imo. I thought the witness was outstanding and very clear.

So substance wise (in that load of oysters) where do we stand? What, if any, were the salient points of the defense's opposition; what, if any, were the prosecutions strengths or weaknesses in presenting this material?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Since they objected to the methodology I don't think they accomplished anything as far as Frye. JP often reminded DCS her questions were suited for questioning at trial. IMO

:twocents: IMHO:innocent: .......She's an excellent witness SO FAR! :great:

Lots of information presented, relatively easy to understand and NO ELABORATION or over-whelming personal opinion! :seeya:

Thanks Joypath! I totally look forward to your posts! :rocker:

Why does someone need to babysit KC? It appears that someone jumps in to sit with her at all times. Is it to keep her entertained? Distracted? Sane acting?

BBM
 yep...all of the above and then some...yes sir...that's exactally what they do.

I long for the day when she loses it. :great:

I had to run out and get a strawberry frap. Has it started again? Did I miss anything?

This morning was an eye opener. This Lady Lawyer didn't impress me at all.

What a train wreck! I ALMOST felt bad for DCS. She was really bad.

Casey needs to button her shirt. It would almost appear that she is making the move JB even though she might be making a move on CM or the others on her side. I do not know how she is so calm when discussions about her darling daughters remains are so heartwrenching.
God bless little Caylee.

Well I know that I learned that if DS is doing the questioning from now on I'll just have to read the highlights.

Honestly though I think the defense just hammered into everyones skull that post mortem banding is post mortem banding. You can have root darkening but that is NOT banding and Q-12(or Q12.1) which was Caylee's hair HAD post mortem banding.

If DS does this at trial they're going to have to seatbelt the juror's to keep them from jumping out of their seats. If DS wanted to make the state's case she accomplished her goal. jmo

Bold mine.

I was thinking more of jumping outta the window!
