We had this conversation last Saturday around the dinner table.
Out of seven adults, I was the only one who waffled.....couldn't come up with a definitive answer.
It's not cut and dry for me. EACH case would be have to decided on it's own (circumstances, etc.), at least for me.

So many have asked the same question: "Why do I keep watching?"
For me, it's kinda like watching a really lousy movie but you keep watching hoping it will get better. David Lynch's EraserHead comes to mind (that was 85 minutes of my life I'll never get back). :crazy:
I personally think the Defense wants those jurors who waffled when asked if they were for or against the death penalty. If they waffled, stammered, hemmed and hawed, the defense probably thinks it's because they don't believe in the death penalty but are saying they "would" be able to give the death penalty just to be on the jury? (Did that just make any sense at all?)
