The first two jurors 1340 and 1232 were asked to return for round 3. This is juror 1129 (the third juror)
What is round 3 by the way ?

I am sitting here listening and suddenly finding that I'm coming back to attention with minutes of my life lost. This woman is really droning on.

I think AF said something about her last question about 10 questions ago. This is going to last more than 45 minutes...................

fascinating that the words "a child has been killed" could occur in the hearing of ICA and she doesnt even blink, no matter how many times it happens it still shocks me. even now I wait for her humanity to show but it never does.

  • #1,466
But a child HAS been killed in this case - either intentionally or accidentally. I don't get why it's a big deal that she said that?? What am I missing?

  • #1,467
AF - if you were in situation and found someone guilty and person testified and maintained innocence would you hold that against them

1129 - wouldn't hold it against them

So on one hand they are going to make the state prove their case that Casey murdered Caylee.
But on the other hand they are going to say that Caylee did it but was afraid of telling her parents (or anybody else for that matter) because she was abused and comes from a dysfunctional family.
And on the other hand (that's three if you aren't counting) they are going to make the excuse for the DP of some kind of brain development issue.

*scratching my head*

How can the D/T claim ("mental problems etc) when JB has gone to the media and stated how "smart" ICA was?:waitasec:

Thank you Whome.

I think AF makes it sound like they are going to say that Casey is developmentally challenged. This next word is incorrect and ignorant but AF makes Casey seem like she is "mentally handicapped."

How can they say that? The jury will see and hear the tapes, interviews...???

Brain development? Seriously?

Are they going to try and say that ICA's brain is not fully developed?

How are they going to explain the way that she is able to weave, create, relate, tell, and add to all of the lies, stories, and mistruths for weeks, and even months and years on end?

A person whose brain is not fully developed would never be able to keep up with all of the elaborately concocted falsehoods that ICA has been known to create.

No way.

Exactly!!!! Post of the day.

First Post for me!

IMO, all the questioning by the defense, regarding the death penalty vs. life without parole, will end up "planting a seed" in the mind of the jurors that she is guilty. IMO, this defense is NOT assisting their case!

The majority of questioning by the defense.......is assuming guilt!

IMO The priority seems to be to prevent her from being strapped down to that gurney and getting the needle. I think they know ABSOLUTELY that there is a very strong likelihood that she will be convicted. They're just doing their jobs. But as George says, she's the boss, she is the one that makes the final decisions as to testify or not or to plead or not. She should have taken the plea..imo

After waiting three years for this trial, I am not sure I can listen to JB or CM or DS all day, day after day...... may need to rely on forum threads.

That is exactly what I do. It provides needed relief from this monotony. I cannot believe we have waited 3 years for this, and here I am complaining on the 3rd day. :loser:

I think when the trial starts next year, I will pick and choose the testimony I want to listen to. Of course, I will definitely watch opening statements because I want to hear JB say that LA/GA/CA abused ICA and THAT my friends, is the reason she double bagged Caylee. Not because there was an imaginanny that she told her family and friends about for at least a year....not because she pretended to drop her daughter off with the imaginanny while she went to her imagi-job which she got with her imagi-college education.

OMG I am losing my mind.

I have said this already *I think* I'm pretty brain dead here. But this DT would make me as a prospective juror so uptight. It is really as if they are on trial. She is asking questions the judge just went over. The same questions the same juror. They are gonna end up just wanting off the jury if they keep this up. In the beginning these jurors sound so ready, happy and willing. By the end its like wth?? (them thinking)

When I go out and kill someone this evening ....and you follow my trial on TV.....watch for a mitigating factor to be that I had endured emotional pain and suffering inflicted by Ann Finnell and her voice, that my brain suffered trauma from processing JB's line of questioning...and while we're at it let's throw in that guy Johnathan green since he created an issue yesterday that put this behind schedule..

I had a wonderful childhood but this case has created trauma and stress.

Oh yeah..I almost forgot.....JB has tried to use me as a pawn in his dog and pony show. As a forum poster I am damaged by the insinuation that I am a blogger.

Before anyone has a panic attack and calls LE.....that question was in jest.

Why must WE be punished for ICA's evil???? WHY?????
P.S.: I'll be your stealth juror - ok?

 That is what I am getting.

AF: Considering the fact that a child *HAS BEEN KILLED*......

Yep...they are just showing all their cards arent they. I guess this means they not only arent holding their breath for a "not guilty", but sounds like they arent even going to claim accidental.....
