I have a dumb question: If they find the 11 jurors and 7 alternates they are looking for before they finish all of the potential jurors, do they just stop? Or, do you have to interview all potential jurors? KWIM?

Is my hair turning gray? I feel lots older than this time yesterday.....

Sending you a bottle of root touch up....might have to send 6 or 8 more before this trial is over.

These questions actually shock me..... I had no idea they would ask these types of questions....

It sounds like they are trying the case with each individual juror.

  • #845
that was over an hour SHORTER than first

Defense has no objections to this PJ, neither does the state.

When people are speaking from train of thought as opposed to what is logical and factual then it is harder to follow. You have no idea where they are going to go with what they are saying because they are tying to get the other person to go there with them.

If any of that makes sense?

People who are telling the truth are easier to follow if you are not typing what they are saying, anyway.

The judge is speaking right now but not into the mic. I cannot hear what is being said.

Re: Brain Development . . . I am wondering if they are going to argue that kc had a "disorganized attachment" with her parents since infancy . . . wherein she was forced to be in the parental role and make adult decisions for herself without having appropriate role modeling by her parents. There are studies (replicatable and reliable research) which shows it can impact the higher functioning portions of the brain, as the child stays in a "fight/flight or freeze" mental state consistently as they can never anticipate their environment or their primary care provider's consistency. Inconsistency is the norm and it is very confusing for a young child.
Interesting...but if that's the case...all I can say is..."Cry me a river."
