I don't see how he can stay; he said he needed beyond all POSSIBLE doubt.
Mind you, I am not especially for the DP personally, but I thought you had to be, to be on this type of juror, otherwise what does DP qualified mean? The judge's explanation is not helping me.

I am not as concerned about the sentencing phase as the guilt phase. JP will listen to the jury's recommendation for sentencing, but he is the one who chooses the sentence.

Are you sure? I thought it was the jury that decided.

all the judge is doing is reading the law for the record so if he excuses him on cause there is no reversal on appeal.
