I don't see any reason not to seat this PJ so far, unless they come up with something but since it hasn't happened...

Fingers crossed the other 11 are there!

he may be sent on to the possibles but get ready for another one to bite the dust to keep it at 11...

Jose is doing his "I like this guy and am trying to educate him" speech

Casey: looks like she is interviewing someone for a job at the kodak shop she worked at ((hurl))

It annoys me. I really feel he tries in his way to "connect" with the pj's, trying to make them like him so they will like his client. I cannot stand the man. I know attorneys like him and find them to be underhanded.

The personal little touches, about books, sports, whatever...icky.

The state does not do this and that's why i feel less intelligent or more gullible jurors will be more attracted to the defense.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the potential jurors are still there and that BOTH sides want him!

Me too. Looking forward to the adrenalin of bringing them in, clearing the front rows, swearing them in before a strike is made. That was exciting to me.

I like this PJ. Something about him sits well with me. He sounds very sincere and firm with his answers. I don't think anything about his background is weird, nor do I think it's weird that he's 53 and not married, nor do I think it means he's gay, and even if so, who cares?

I really hope he gets on. I like his answers, and he sounds like he would be fair.

Agreed. I really really like this guy for some reason. I hope he stays.

He has been given a book "Sea of Fire" but hasn't gotten into the book yet. JB wants to see if this PJ can follow instructions. Reasonable doubt definition . . . SA has burden to prove beyond reasonable doubt, must follow law all elements proven BRD, kc cloaked w/innocence, use conflicting/lack of evidence to render verdict to find not guilty, not required to testify, (checks on the checklist) . . . . asked to step out

Stepping outside . . . and . . . no challenges

5 minute break before last two

  • #1,054
Why are they talking to the last two jurors if they have now got 12?

  • #1,055
hmmm... not clearing the rows and swearing in the twelve?

  • #1,056
  • #1,057
So they will interview 2 more before any swearing in?
That will give them up to 14 to choose from?

  • #1,058
5 min comfort break ... two more PJ's to be questioned

  • #1,059
We are right back at 12!
OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SF connection --- very interesting. The chef dude lived in this area as well.
Think that means we can be jurors??? I know what I think of Casey Anthony...
