I remember George admitting that he had put duct tape on the gas can, but he was pretty adament that he did not put that specific piece of duct tape on the gas can because it was done sloppily. He did say he had put duct tape on it before though. I do remember that.

All George's lies these past few years are going to come back on him and I think the State has prepared him for that. George was following the letter of the law in that family and it was protect Casey at all costs. I think he will be fine. Just tell the jury the truth... yes, I did lie, but I never knew my granddaughter was deceased... I believed my daughter.

My thoughts exactly. He's trying to tell the truth now, but he lied to protect ICA too many times and it's coming back to haunt him! Cindy will have the same trouble!

JB: shows picture of gas can . . . is that clear enough for you? Crystal clear that gas can didn't have duct tape on it when kc returned it to you? (big tension in room!!!)
reason you called police - you had to mow your lawn . . .no gas .. between 6/24 & 8/1 you had to cut your grass. . . religious about it cut grass every week.

GA: not every week, every 10 days, it just depends (GA keeping his cool ... while JB being quite hostile IMO)

There is a vent hole in most gas cans. It normally has a small hatch or cover. When you pour you open the vent so the gas pours smoothly and does not spill. GA said that the vent cover was missing when he got the cans back from KC so he put a pice of tape over it to prevent fumes from filling his shed.

Well...way back when when GA was trying to "protect" his daughter against LEO...it was implied that LEO put that tape there to frame ICA. That was my take on it.

Now JB is trying (or will try) to make it look like GA put that duct tape there and on Caylee to frame ICA after he helped her hide the body. Yeah. Right.

I believe that the DT is trying to suggest that GA put the duct tape on the cans after ICA returned them to him in an effort to frame her. The tape was tape which was in the garage and found on little Caylee.
Not that it makes sense. Nothing the DT is suggesting makes sense to me at this point.

I can not believe we are going here but it looks like JB is trying to say that when ICA gave GA the gas cans back that there was no duct tape on them and so after he used/filled them back up that GA put that duct tape on and hence he used the roll of duct tape that was also found on Caylee and he was the only person using that roll of tape.

Please GA do not fall on ICA's sword. She would not do the same for you in a million years.
