Why isn't she allowed to mention the knife? Kills me that the courts leave out important evidence. The knife should have been allowed.

The DT filed a MIL to keep the knife out. The State didn't oppose. So HHJP ordered that the mention of the knife was to stay out.

I do agree with the DT about where this family's priorities are. Seriously, George wastes no time calling the Police about his gas cans, rather than calling ICA first (who had stolen gas before), yet, when the car smells like a dead body, they decide to go about their normal business and then give ICA the benefit of the doubt to explain it? WTF?

I do believe ICA is guilty, but, my goodness this family is a circus.

GA was pizzed about the gas cans and knew (from past experience) it was ICA that did it, so he called LE to get her "in trouble".
