JB: isn't it true that a missing persons case is akin to a murder investigation without a body? (harkening back to Yuri's WS post)

  • #744
LOL Jose just quoted from what Yuri posted on webslueths. Too funny.

  • #745
Oh lord...JB trying to bring in Dick Tracy's comments from the "blog".

LMAO!

Pssst...jury never heard that, JB.

  • #746
UN FLAPPABLE!!!!!!!!

JB you will NOT break him.

  • #747
Could someone clue me in on exactly what point JB is trying to make here with the whole suspect thing? I don't get it??

That Casey was their only suspect.

  • #748
You got that, JB?! LE was trying to find the TRUTH! The truth you hid when you claimed in OS that Caylee drowned on 6/16/08.

JB asks why YM turns to the Jury. He is taught to do that. Part of his training is in how to speak to a jury. He feels it is appropriate to look at them and speak to them. Asked if he did that during cross and he said he is now.

On the 16th ZG is the suspect, not ICA. After verifying no ZG lives at Sawgrass, child missing for 30 days and after learning car had odor, after verifying ICA is lying about working at Universal and JMH hasn't worked there since 2002, after finding out no Juliette worked there, after finding out ZG never worked at Universal. He agreed despite all this, ICA was not a suspect. JB told him to look at the Jury and tell them - objection sustained.

Can you tell this Jury at that point ICA was not a suspect. YM says of what? He said she had obviously lied but she was insistent that ZG had her. He did not know what to think of ICA at that point.

Did you not suspect ICA at this point of some kind of fowl play at this point? He suspected her of something, but she denied all of it. He can't say now what he felt at that time. They still wanted to get more information. If they didn't believe ZG existed, they wouldn't have shown her pictures of ZGs.

Isn't a missing person case akin to a murder investigation without a body? It could be, but not in all instances. (No impeachment there from his Dick Tracy statements!)

He was not doing a murder investigation at that point.

Mr Baez....how pointless is this line of questioning when you ADMITTED your client KNEW her daughter was DEAD on June 16th?

  • #752
He's trying in a roundabout way to get Yuri's WS post in.

  • #753
Is JB trying to back into the detective's "blog posts"? He can't be doing himself any favors with the jury.

  • #754
omg he is quoting the websleuths post

  • #755
I'm having deja vu here - is any one else? Haven't we heard Mr. Baez ask these exact questions before? In this manner?

  • #756
Could someone clue me in on exactly what point JB is trying to make here with the whole suspect thing? I don't get it??

Wants to get in that she was not read Miranda Rights and her statements should not be allowed as evidence.

  • #757
JB is looking for stardom.
Yep and has fallen into a black hole instead.

He is at the event horizon...there is no going back.

  • #758
Yuri made a good point at that point after universal he just had a mother lying about WHERE the Nanny lived and contact information for her and had to assume after KC's denial that zanny was still involved.

GOOD ANSWER.

  • #759
And jb goes back to quoting WebSleuths -

  • #760
Is there a link somewhere that has a list of the jurors --not by name, but with descriptions of what they said during jury picking?
