Ya, I have to say the court reporter has a very difficult job. I really admire her work, it must be so tough.

She deserves a HUGE raise after this trial. Seriously.

submitting these reports without testimony was unconstitutional, it also held that so called "notice-and-demand" statutes are constitutional. A state would not violate the Constitution through a "notice-and-demand" statute by both putting the defendant on notice that the prosecution would submit a chemical drug test report without the testimony of the scientist and also giving the defendant sufficient time to raise an objection.

So he's basing his objection on the first part while totally disregarding the part about the notice-and-demand statute. Typical JB.

I'm wondering what Simms is there for if she's not doing the forensic cross? Is she going to talk when it's the DT's turn? Seems like she's not doing all that much. I really thought she was going to do a lot more.

IIRC, Simms did the cross on plant growth in the Frye hearings

I am right handed, don't know what George is, but seeing him on that side of Cindy would be more comfortable for me personally. I had noticed previously that he was on her other side and thought maybe he was a lefty. Just a casual observation of the picture, and to me I think it looks more comfortable. Perhaps they are getting closer....

Yes, now that ICA is out of that home, there might be some harmony going on inside it...too bad, Caylee's not there to share in the peace and tranquility...JMHO

Casey is very foolish to laugh and act the way she does in front of the jury. They will not appreciate losing 8 weeks of their lives for her to make a mockery of this trial and laugh as though she doesn't have a care in the world.

It irritates us but believe me the jury is watching.

See, I think she had a chance at LWOP if she had acted a lot better this whole time. But seeing her sitting there, laughing it up, not one tear for Caylee, that is going to get a needle in her arm. No one on that jury is going to feel one bit sorry for her.

So far her primary duty has been that of babysitter to ICA, IMO. I wonder if ICA considers her a nanny, since that denotes a much higher status, in her mind?

I think the subpena was just for the witness to be in attendance when the DT presents their case.
