I wondered the same thing b/c if she "drowned" like the DT says then would they pick up the scent b/c she would have still been warm and decomp wouldn't set in for a few hours. So I don't think the dogs would have hit in the back yard if it was an accident. So does anyone know how long it take for the dog to be able to pick up the scent. :waitasec:
