Haskell paid $23,000 from the state and says defense still owes him $$ he charges $400 an hour to testify.

this whole trial is a "huge waste" Mr. Baezzzz to the taxpayers of Florida because your client will not own up to her actions. So now ALL these experts have to be paid so Caylee can have justice. Sorry to vent. My DH pointed this out last night.

Please, State, ask this at some point during this trial. Let the jury know what BAEZ has received in this case, since he is SURE to let the jury know what everyone else - the real professionals - have received. And let the ladies and gentlemen of the jury know exactly HOW and WHY he received it, and what he did with it. That skull the jury saw paid for THIS defense. Infuriating, isn't it?!

JB tries to make a big deal about anyone receiving payment for their services in this case. There is nothing wrong with an expert witness getting paid for their time and testimony. There is nothing sinister about that so I wish he would let that angle go.
