ICA is freaking me out right now - it's like she is filing this information away for future use.

CONFESSION TIME: I do have to say this chick is kinda damned if she does damned if she doesn't when it comes to expressions with me. If she looks away, she's bored or hiding something. If she is interested or showing the info appropriate respect, I think she's scheming. Oh well, that's what happens when you don't report your beloved baby missing and then lie like a freaking rug for 3 years. Find it hard to give you the benefit of the doubt !

One thing I've learned about myself through all this evidence is that, while I find entomology and chemistry extremely fascinating, hair analysis puts me to sleep.

The bug stuff was sorta interesting, chemistry by the chemist put me to sleep...loved Vass and I find the hair stuff facinating...who knew?

Perhaps JB's questioning at this point will allow the State to refine their questioning and pin things down even more. A benefit maybe?

Also why JA and the SA are not objecting to Jose going on and on and on with this. They get a preview what Jose will be asking on cross therefore they can debunk it up front.

Worth saying, Kat. I think "Chair-Hopping-Gate" is distinctly overblown, though I appreciate and share the frustration behind the sentiments.

I really hate to say this but JB has a legitimate argument. If in fact he was given black and white photocopies of the pictures in the powerpoint presentation this morning, he should have at least 48 hours to study them. JMO

I have very mixed feelings on this, partly because I'm not a lawyer and don't know how this works.

First, after watching JB filing motion after motion after motion leading up to this trial claiming the State had not turned over evidence that I know good and well had been turned over, months if not years previously, I don't trust him to be telling the truth about anything he says regarding when/if he received anything from the State.

Second, is this actual evidence, or would it fall under 'trial strategy'?

Third, JB has had ample time to depose this witness, and should have been prepared for him, regardless of what kind of power point the State puts on.

On the other hand, if these are actual evidence pictures the State did not turn over, that bugs me.
