Inmates are shacked for a reason. They should not be allowed the luxury of chair hopping or moving anywhere. She should sit somber, still and respectful.

Exactly. Casey needs to be treated the same as every defendant charged with murder. Imagine if a man the size of a line backer was moving freely from chair to chair.

Defendants go crazy sometimes (check out youtube videos), they try and attack the judge, lawyers, spectators, etc. It takes several guards to get them under control. Just because the guards could easily take care of Casey if she decided to do something crazy doesn't exempt her from the same rules.

IMO

This is pointless. Delaying the time he has to put on his defense. I think it is a ploy. jmo

Why do they need to show the jury this pp? Didn't he describe the experiments? This is way too much info!

because the pictures he got were black and white and these are color.. ((no I am not kidding))

In all fairness, I can't fault him for using anything he can to try to keep out damning evidence against his client.

On the other hand, it irritates me that he wastes everyone's time when it's fairly obvious to everyone (including him) that he's not going to score.

it isn't case evidence per se.... it is his study on root banding and really drives home that the bands were found in Caylee's hairs in two different stages of decomp..

moo:twocents:

Thank you. I find this fascinating. I also think that JA is going to drive home That Caylee was INDEED in ICA's car.

What can you ask see on a black and white photo of a Hair?

I dont blame JB for wanting to depo on the hair photo he had not ever seen before. JA should have handed a power point over on sat.

Not a big fan of this witness. You'd think the FBI would be better witnesses but this guy and the FBI chemist are not very engaging.

  • #232
Did I hear correctly that this wit's testimony was part of a Frye hearing? I ask because the questions JB is asking now, it seems to me he would have asked all this (about where the various cadavers were/conditions) at that time and at deposition. Wouldn't he ask the same questions about the b/w pictures he received, and in general in regards to this testimony? imo

I think that the point has been made. Caylee's hair within the trunk showed banding from initial stages of decomp and later on her hair showed decomp at a much later stage. So, in essence she was in the trunk first and then dumped into the woods a block from her home. And she was dead!
That is all I needed to hear and the rest of this is just minutia to me.
MOO

Is anyone else laughing at JB questioning this witness right now? He's asking questions and has no idea what he's even asking. He's clearly just asking the witness to explain things just to make him talk. It has no purpose whatsoever.
This trial is one big comedy, which is a darn shame. Bless that precious baby.
He's just buying time for his team to study the evidence for the real questions that will be asked of this witness, by the DT

He doesn't want the state to finish on Thursday June 16. This is utter BS...to let him waste the State's time & money.

KC finds the powerpoint very interesting.

  • #239
Why does JB get to ask these questions now with the jury out?....if he has already seen the pictures but not on a power point?

  • #240
You are referring to not being convicted in THIS CASE, right?

Cause she IS a CONVICTED FELON!!!

I don't think Mock Juror wanted that info :innocent: OOOPS :seeya:
