Maybe SA now realizes it will be a bit longer before they rest their case????

Or maybe the defense will not be ready to start their case :loser:

I really hate to say this but JB has a legitimate argument. If in fact he was given black and white photocopies of the pictures in the powerpoint presentation this morning, he should have at least 48 hours to study them. JMO

Sure but how long has he had the B&W copies.. He never thought to request them in color all this time?? Seriously he didn't think they were coming In ?? I wonder how much of this stuff he actually really looked at prior to trial beginning :banghead:

difference is the guy made a power point slide of the pictures so Jose got his foot in the door for a proffer.

JB had everything prior - he had the opportunity to question the state as to what state these pictures would be utilized in black & white or color and then to request the color pictures. Another JB mistake in a DP case.

Also JB has the benefit of other experienced DP attorneys and trial lawyers prior to trial and they would have the opportunity review all the information.

The defense should have had this power point presentation in advance. Kind of ticks me off the State sprung it on them. Now this is interferring with the presentation. Why do they do stuff like that? I am all for the prosecution but don't like stuff like this.

This PP is nothing more than photographs, all of which the DT has received. JA stated there is no text or verbiage, just the photographs the DT has already seen. No problem, IMO

Dont you mean Convicted Felon...is she still serving time for the stealing felonies or has time been served on those convictions? TIA

IIRC, and I may not, so someone please correct me if I am wrong (I know you will :floorlaugh yes, convicted felon, but I believe that made her sentence time served because it was something about not being allowed to sentence her to more than 364 or 365 days because after that she would have had to go to real prison. I don't know why that should matter, unless they just didn't want to take the chance and all of the precautions for protective custody when she hadn't been found guilty of this yet.

And these "proffers" are nothing but another "do-over" for Baez for what he SHOULD have been doing during the depositions! Apparently he was too busy trying to find anything he could use in his SODDI defense, rather than paying attention to the actual evidence.

Ah, boring to many yet this testimony totally has ICA's Full attention. To date, this appears to be the most curious she has been and it is about the decomposing hair that has brought many to tears.

ITA. She spends about 8 hours a day M-F and 4 hours on Sat. sitting at the defense table at her death penalty murder trial. The rest of her time is pretty much spent in a cell. JMO, I couldn't care less if she chair hops, or drinks her water from a bottle or a cup. ICA may be one of those highly adaptive people who can make a life out of that, but I'm sure glad it's her and not me.

What she's actually doing is reading the diagolgue of the sidebars. The words are displayed on the teleprompter beside CMason...

I see she is very interested in the hair with the decomp...clearly the DT doesn't want this shown for only 1 hair with the decomp was found..now he's got Caylee's full hair or what was left of it...poor child....JMHO

These questions should have all been already asked in his deposition I think HHJP is only allowing this because he knows this power point is going to come in. But he needs to stop him at some point. He is now just questioning the witness and going beyond the power point presentation.
