JB again trying again to say the SA is bringing up things in the middle of a trial they haven't had a chance to study. (You have had 3 years) And Sims already said she went to the FBI office and viewed this study.

I'm not understanding how JB had stacks of black and white images and a deposition and a report, but just NOW realized they didn't have their own expert witnesses or color pics.

If it is let in, when it finally is presented to the jury, I believe the jury will KNOW it's very important to this case. They will know the DT fought hard to keep it out due to this lengthy delay. They will pay close attention, IMO.

JA: This is an example of original research by this witness to answer the scientific question of whether this particular post mortem artifact can be created by something other than it's contact with a decomposing human body. So I do not believe this would constitute bolstering. Part of bolstering is the hearsay issue- you're talking about what someone else says... This expert is talking about his own research and the outcomes of that research thus far.

JB is now complimenting the FBI on how accommodating they have been and that that is not in question... I'm lost... thought he had a valid point for a minute there..

I think HHJP simply wants to insure that ICA recieves a fair trial. I applaud him for that. Especially since I don't want to have to sit through a do over.

Other posters have continued to say it's not enough,so maybe the SA is hedging his bets to make sure no juror feels that way.
