ICA winks at CM..and then a little hug from CM....ugh

Is all this physical touching normal in a trial to the defendant?

In other words, HHJP in essence just said:

I've already made up my mind, and am telling you about my study of case law and testimony just so you won't have a basis for your whining and complaining once I shoot down your request for acquittal. Now I am going to take the morning paper into my judicial restroom for 40 minutes or so."

anyone see KC smile and wink at CM

casey doesnt like linda. haha!

I keep hoping LDB will gravitate toward the DT and just sort of hover around her. I figure eventually she will come out of her chair, unable to contain her jealousy.

:cow:

If Caylee really drowned, wouldn't evidence of pool chemicals have been found in those toxicology reports?

Yes, if she was found with any organs left. Especially if her lungs were still intact. Unfortunately she wasn't found until she had skeletonized.

KC raised eyebrows and winked, smiled at CM He patted her on back

I forgot the raised eyebrows. Yes she did! What a flirt.

Okay - I was wrong about the 1st Circuit.

This trial is taking place in the 9th Circuit of the State of Florida, so precedent is set by the Florida Appeals Court and the Florida Supreme Court.

In the federal system, Florida is in the 11th Circuit.

So the references to the 1st Cir. that LBD was making are probably to the State's first circuit court, which would be the same level as this, the 9th Cir. Decisions on the circuit level for the state would not be binding, but persuasive. Appeal & Supreme Ct. decisions would be binding.

Not trying to confuse everyone - just trying to get it straight in my own brain :)
