This will be touchy for defense bug guy to say state's bug guy-his mentor-is wrong without calling his own credibility in to question.

I don't think I recall that LKB was on board as early as December 11, 2008. :waitasec:

Hmmm, vultures were already circling. Literally.

Keep saying Haskell, and then JA can ask you how know him.

  • #184
JB: explain to us how entomology works...

I already heard how it works from Dr. Haskell. Don't make this another class session, JB. Just cut to the chase.

He was recommended by LKB Linda Kenny Baden he received a phone call from her to get involved in the case.

On the DAY she was found......the very same day.

Well isn"t that special. Why can't this Dr say what their convo was about. HMmmmm!

Here's a little more background on the current defense witness Dr. Huntington: http://goo.gl/xG3LJ #CaseyAnthony

JB really likes witnesses that have joined clubs and or have memberships to clubs. He makes that a point with most of his witnesses.

That may be due to his client often attending clubs, also...

#CaseyAnthony This bug guy was taught by the state's bug guy, Dr. Neil Haskell. Interesting!

I don't think that JB has much to get from this guy. JB just goes on and on about stuff (now we get the history of entomology). He tries to fool the jury that he put on some info for the case when most of what his witnesses say don't mean anything to this case. By the time Baez makes his point the jury and the public is asleep from boredom.

"Defense bug guy, Tim Huntington, was taught by prosecution bug dude, Neil Haskell. Now he's here to say teacher was wrong."

Tried to catch up a bit on it last nite, seems to be mostly local coverage, but at the time it happened it got national coverage, guess that's why defense lawyers like lots of time to pass before trial,in most cases the public's interest does fade over time.

True, plus didn't it take forever to even get him arrested?

I think my eyes are glazing over.

Interesting. He testifies that he was pulled into the case through a phone call by LKB. Hmmmm

And if she called on December 11 - why didn't SHE call the prominent Dr. Haskell?

  • #199
Good witness, imo. Engaging and easy to undertstand. Not HIS fault I'm having to hear info I have already heard in some depth.

  • #200
No kidding....especially since during hearings he was SO super secretive about Dr. Spitz and his infamous chicken bone. He practically begged to have that info sealed and was befuzzled when JA just out and talked about it in court! :loser:

Could you elaborate about said chicken bone story? TIA!
