Dr. Huntington blurted out when he was contacted by defense. It was BEFORE Caylee's remains were identified. So this opens up the state to drive that point home to the jury...perhaps through video of ICA's reaction to hearing remains were found.

dr. Huntington did not come up with post mortem interval (pmi) - dr. Haskell didnt come up with exact pmi gave a time frame......maggots from trunk if you assume are from a decomposing body...you could give a pmi - any other topics ....is that all you plan to testify on that topic pmi isthere more? That should be sufficient....no further questions...

Ja - pmi could have been done under what circumstances - maggots from trash bag from trunk if you associate they came from a human body - pmi - approx. Time of death...why were you not able to do that....could not make that assumption ...for him there was no reason to make the assumption the maggots came from a human body....make that assumption......

Why is the defense arguing time of death when they admitted Caylee died on June 16th, 2008??

I SO don't get this. Baez clearly, emphatically and in great detail told this jury during his OS that Caylee drowned on the 16th. Even though he waffled about what time of day (either early morning, could have been the afternoon, no wait... it was morning - heh).

So what the heck is his point about debating any of the States testimony - or anything else really?

It just makes no sense what so ever. GAH!

It looks like they are completely backing away from the accidental drowning and George was there. They are arguing time of death now?? I just don't understand the defense. They are all over the place. It is not only confusing, but completely disorganized. It makes absolutely no sense and I am sure the jury is picking up on this.

It could be just foresight. I'm not sure they'd come up with the meter reader moved the body theory yet. Bugs may be an issue with most bodies, I assume. Gotta try, anyway. And they already knew about the bugs in the trunk, didn't they? So now that Caylee was found they figured it would come to a trial eventually since they'd lost the "she's alive" excuse and got to have someone to argue with the trunk evidence.

Were there bugs at the dump site? How did they "survive" being submerged for months? Not decompose I mean?

The DT team HAD to know that Caylee was already dead at that point. Who could they possibly know that FROM , Donjeta?

And yet, ICA was still telling investigators Caylee was kidnapped, was she not? Or am I mistaken in that?
