Mike Brooks calling Dr. Haskell's recreation a "science fair project". LOL

IN says Jury NOT taking notes.

  • #1,004
Ha ha. Mike Brooks on IS just said this testimony reminds him of a science fair project. He thinks this witness is losing the jury.

JB: Okay, so then you put pigs in the trunk of the car....

Very strange statement - but, in this case, it seems to be quite appropriate.

I pictured a scene in Angry Birds when I read that!

If he can testify to the stain based on years of looking at decomp bodies then why can't regular people who have come into contact with the smell of decomp be allowed to testify? Only people with a gazillion degees behind their name can say it smelled like a dead body.

  • #1,007
I imagine that everyone of those jurors is looking at that decomposed pig and knowing thats what happened to Caylee....not very bright JB

  • #1,008
Sooooo did we just open the door to showing the one picture of the stain that appears to show a body in the trunk? Least one I've heard existed.

If I was the SA attorney's I would ask this guy if he was a chemist that ever committed suicide.

  • #1,010
Okay, let me get this straight -

Pigs were placed in the trunk of this car, in Nebraska, in September, for 11 days.

Caylee was placed in the trunk of her mother's car, triple bagged, in Florida, in June, for 3-5 days.

How do these even compare??

I can not WAIT until Jeff Ashton gets a hold of this guy!!

Is demonstravate a word?? Maybe I am the doofus here.

O/T - "demonstrative" is :) I actually like the sound of this word. It describes something that demonstates, i.e., "this is a demonstrative pronoun" meaing the pronoun demonstrates whatever :)

How's that before my second cup of coffee and not even using google LOL

Good grief I hope the jury wasn't planning on BBQ ribs for lunch

  • #1,013
I was going to have BBQ for lunch today. But now, a salad seems a better choice.

Wimp! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Unless you're topping with bacon bits...

I want to preface my comment with that i am NOT taking up for that woman. I can't stand to even hear her voice. But, she is married to Michael Baden. I've always thought that the minute those remains were found, he told her to call him. He would know they would need a bug guy. I can't stand him either after watching him literally lie on the stand in the Spector case but I think he probably told her to call him.

now i feel dirty for saying that.....

How would they know they were baby Caylee's ????

"A car’s temperature rises an average of 19 degrees within the first 10 minutes after a car is closed up. It then rises anaverage of another 10 degrees within the next 10 minutes culminating in an average rise of 43 degrees within an hour."

I think we'll have pork chops for supper...............

Oh yeah? We're having hamburgers. And yes, we will be eating them with bags over our heads. :floorlaugh:

If I was a juror I would scratching my head and wondering what this has to do with the facts known about Caylee. Different types of cars, different weather conditions, different length of time and pigs, not a child.
I would be royally ticked off at this waste of time and insult to my intelligence.

Hi - since sidebar can someone tell me if CM and/or DS are in the courtroom and if not how is JB allowed to continue since not DP qualified?

  • #1,020
I chuckled when JA asked how he knew and he answered "years and years" of seeing things like that. How old is this guy anyway?! He's prob still in his 30s.
