I think JA is worried that the DT is going to allege the carpet stain was cleaned (by GA) after the car was picked up. However, what would have prevented ICA from wiping the adipocere on the paper towels and then wetvaccing the trunk liner quickly one of the days she backed into the garage?

Yeeha! HHJP is shooting that down because it wasn't in JB's discovery.

The state must at all times be above reproach. I am extremely uncomfortable with Jeff A's displays of temper. This is not, nor should ANY case, be about emotion. It is about facts, evidence & the law. Save the emotion for closing argument & even then, use it properly.
Remember folks, the 'state' is a powerful entity. When it's actions are not above reproach bad things happen. Ever hear of a young boy named Martin Tanklof ?

With respect, I completely and absolutely disagree.

Every lawyer in that room should be above reproach and treated fairly by the presiding judge.

JA's side comments are wrong. Baez's smirks and twitches, little comments are wrong. CM's side comments are wrong.

They should all stop; they should all be told to do so by the presiding judge, not just one.

I don't know why HHJP's favouritism and mollycoddling the defense bothers me so bad, but it truly does. Not that it matters in the end, but it does bother me.

I think Judge is harder on the "older child" because the "younger child" is doing a lot of things to attract attention (most negative) and he wants the "older child" to ignore that behavior because he KNOWS the "older child" can do better. But, as the "older child", it's hard to watch the "younger child" "get away" with things and makes them think the Judge likes them more. But... that's not true. Judge just EXPECTS more out of the "older child." MOO.
