Dr. Bock now claimed that the green leaves on the brown leaves is because one of the trees is releasing green leaves because of some lacking chemical. Even the trees are trying to frame KC.

I'm still waiting for them to to attempt to tie me in somehow.

How come the prosecution never put on a botanist? I don't see Ashton make much headway with this witness altho she doesn't look very believable to me.

They get a rebuttal after the defense finishes its case. The State are probably saving their botanist until then, IMO.

Bock seems to be an extremely sweet & nice woman but in a situation way above her pay scale. She seems terribly uncomfortable & unsure in her testimony & IMO seems somewhat confused.
JA is being very gentle in his cross which is a good thing. She just seems too fragile to attact with both barrels blazing.

LOL, DH said she reminded him of Julia Childs. Julia Childs of the plant world would be picking the berries and making turnovers ~ not defending Casey.

Dr. Bock seems to be trying to avoid answers she knows will hurt the defense rather than answering all questions directly.

Yes, and she is trying to outhink JA. She is couching her answers in an attempt to try and circumvent his next question.

This is hard to watch. I am under the impression at this point that she has no understanding of what she is trying to testify to, this is just moo, I wonder if the jury thinks the same.

Witness has been well-rehearsed by DT - she is adding in extra commentary (opinion) to add doubt instead of just giving a yes or no answer, when yes or no suffices.

So Dr. Bock is basing her opinion of the two weeks on a photo taken in FEBUARY and not the actual photo of the skull when it was found.
