There used to be a law that no notes could be passed during a trial. If caught, the note had to read aloud to the court. What has happened to our system. Baez, and even ICA has been texting.:banghead:

I just love reading your sig. line...I just wish I could remember it...it is spot on, IMO:great:

Allowing George and cindy to sit in the Courtroom was not exactly a good idea.

Greta Van Susteren just said that Cindy's testimony blew a big blow in the prosecution's case. I don't think so. I think these newscaster's like to blow everything out of proportion. It might have made a little dent in the case if the juror's don't understand much about computers searches and being on my space about the same time. I think they will get it though.

If the jury never met cindy prior to being a juror, they must think she has a dual personality. I don't think she helped at all. She came off as a nut talking the way she did.

We must all keep in mind that Cindy sees herself in Casey; to rule against casey is telling the world that cindy is bad, bad, bad. She won't go for that...not even a little bit.

.............They are enmeshed!!!

ITA! Watching as Jeff Ashton strode purposefully from the courtroom today let me know that there is no way they are going to let a delusional witness suddenly claim a power surge in memory to save a child murderer. That man was on a mission!!

Reminds me of the movie, "The Blues Brothers". John Belushi: "We're on a mission from God!"

Why do I have the sinking feeling Baez came up with this recently telling Cindy something along the lines of we're doing terribly, if we don't come up with something your daughter is likely to get the DP? So lets say you did the searches and come up with some cockamamy story about why you wouldn't be at work when records show you were.

moo

Cubby? I think this is EXACTLY what happened. And Cindy JUMPED at the chance (literally and figuratively).

Would my fellow posters please take a look at this post, follow the link and the directions in the link to the work records of Cindy and George for the 17th of March vs the 21st of March and ask yourselves does it look like Cindy said these things today to keep George from being accused of doing the 17th searches?

So, the defense team has decided to allow CA to take the heat off of George, their number one suspect??? What am I missing? I need a (nother) beer.

Did you notice THIS?! When he came back, he was practically giddy. I think he's "got this."

BOOYAH.

BAZINGA.

Crudola. Think I fell into a time-eating wormhole. I missed the *entire day* !

And the quick dip I just took in todays trial and the sidebar it looks like all kinds of stuff hit the fan. Any chance someone could shoot out a quick synopsis of what I missed? Just the highlights? Pretty please and if someone could do this for me, I'll make for you a kugel...

I do feel at least the defense did something today. Before today it seemed as though the State's team has Harvard graduates and the defense team has been to the Flunkers School of Law. Even though this is about poor Caylee, KC still deserves a fair trial and it has not been fair if you compare attorneys.

Lippman's makin' the rounds tonight. So far I have seen him on JVM, NG, now Dr. Drew. Gotta love that damage control...

Yeah...good old 'Lipp'...I now rank him right up there with Conway. :maddening:

Well, I'm mentally exhausted from the slow, slow morning leading up to the excitement of the afternoon. Besides, my dogs have been acting a little lethargic today. I'm worried! I think I'll look up clorophyll to see what's up! Haha! Night all!

I came home and found out about todays events and got very emotional, frustrated and angry. I have four grand kids. If one of their parents did anything to remove them from this earth I believe I would not lie for them. I would want them to get punished. I definitely would not like to see them get the DP but I would not lie. Why enable? What good would it do if ICA gets off. What's to stop her from offing someone else that disrupts her beautiful life. The girl is sick. What will make the A's see what they do does not help their daughter.
I guess we are to expect that GA and LA will do as CA did today. I am so disappointed in them. I really started to think they would put Caylee first. How wrong I was.

ITA...like I said, many moons ago, Caylee was no more than a pawn, an accessory, a toy, for CA and KC.

The highlight was Cindy's testimony today. She said that she made searches for chloroform on days in March. LDB became very angry with her and tried to imply she was at work that day...I believe it was March 17th. Cindy said she had left work early. Now everyone is saying Cindy is lying. Some computer expert testified that there were searches on myspace within 20 seconds of searches of chloroform and this would suggest it could not have been Cindy on the computer because she didn't use myspace in March of that year. It was the first day that the defense may have put a dent in the State's arguments, but I don't think its that big of a deal.

Cindy Anthony can get on the stand and tell all the lies about this computer search issue that she chooses. She can say SHE made the chloroform searches, but.....

-She can't "Google" away thirty one days.

-She can't "Google" away multiple layers of duct tape around this baby's face.

-She can't "Google" away her words in the 911 call saying the car smelled like a "damn dead body".

-Cindy can't say that was really her at a "hot bod" contest while this baby was missing.

-And, unless I'm completely unaware, Cindy Anthony isn't sporting a brand new "Good Life" tattoo obtained AFTER Caylee was last seen.

These are all FACTS, carefully and meticulously established by the prosecution for this jury. I don't think today's lies carry nearly the impact that some seem to imply.

My mom and I were talking about it, my son (her grandson) is 11 months younger than Caylee. We both said we wouldn't know what we would do being in that position because my mom said she does love me so much but she doesn't think she could get past me taking her precious grandson out of her life. I just want so badly to see something done right by Caylee and it's just not happening.

Even Caylee's memorial wasn't about her...these evil, repugnant 'humans' couldn't even give Caylee 2 hours of love and respect.

Now that is very interesting. So if Cindy was at work and not at home. That leaves us with GA and ICA. I say ICA for sure. Yup, that who I am going with.

Maybe, just maybe we are barking up the wrong tree. CA could very well be taking the heat of of GA and not ICA. Maybe that is the reason KC said WOW or maybe she did not get it could be GA her mother could be protecting.

Well, I had to leave from 12:15 to 3:30 ish. When I got back they were on the computer guy....I watched that and then was going to watch what I missed. I saw the headline about what CA did. I couldn't believe it but then again I was surprised, too. I have no words for this dishonorable group of people who have no regard for justice or the truth.

That is all I can say.
