Must be a regional thing. I use that term all of the time, even with my DD when she was very young. I never thought of it as in any way inappropriate.

Dislike of the word isn't just regional. If you look it up on the net, you'll see all kinds of articles, essays, discussions about the sexualization of the word.

On a different note, just hearing all this lying and edging around the truth makes ME uncomfortable. I can't imagine the stress of trying to maintain lie after lie.
