What do they have to be happy about? She's not going anywhere....

If there's a mistrial because the jury is DP qualified, I would be SOOO pizzed if I was on the jury right now.

Chris Colman's jury was qualified, but IL was prepared to drop to LWOP and keep the jury.

  • #365
The DT wants a jury that hasn't heard anything about ICA, don't believe in the DP at all...Yeah, good luck with that.

  • #366
Rumor alert...

AFinnel might have motioned for a mistrial and jury nullification...want a new jury NOT DP qualified...BKaras discussing this on InSession....

  • #367
Finnel did all the questions regarding Death Penalty. Half of those jurors said no. This is a DP jury. Out here, they ALL have to be willing to give death. I guess FL doesn't have that law.

But Finnel questioned all of them ad nauseum.

This is complete and utter BS...I wish this had happened in Texas...she would already b e on death row.

  • #368
Bill S says ruling in S FL case about death penalty only affects that case right now but will work its way up the chain so she might just be floating a balloon here. HHJP is not squeemish about dp so it will not concern him

  • #369
It really ticks me off that people file these filings that the DP is cruel and unusual.

WHAT ABOUT THE POOR VICTIM?

Well don't ya know the criminal always becomes the victim, and the victim is always forgotten. I really see no difference between the DP and going in for surgery. You're put to sleep with both, one you wake up from the other you don't!

KBelichWFTV: Prosecutors seem fine.. Ashton just walked back in.. [via Twitter]

Oh my you made me laugh so hard I had water run out my nose.

Well for heavens sake DON'T blow your nose!

It will be reported far and wide that you broke down sobbing and crying!

  • #372
I cant take it!

  • #373
Morning all,
Knots in my stomach already and court isn't even in session yet :(

  • #374
Chris Colman's jury was qualified, but IL was prepared to drop to LWOP and keep the jury.

That's what I mean. There's no reason they should no longer be the jury just because they're "DP qualified".

  • #375
Good Lord, what is this coming to? I can't get a grasp on all of this!

  • #376
Wait---FL did not deem the death penalty unconstitutional they deemed the way the sentence is handed out is unconstitutional. Might seem like a slight difference but is important IMHO.

  • #377
Has she even looked at Jose?

  • #378
Again, why are the attorney's here at 8:30 if they are still going to keep the jury waiting at 9am?

Maybe the attorney's should come in at 7am from now on.

  • #379
I do not think that HJJP will go along with this... JMO
