Beth K. says that Jose has to do this, this is a capital case, he can't take any chances, although she also says that the concensus among lawyers around the courtroom is that the verdict will be something less than the ultimate...

What does that mean, something less then 1st degree?

I'm with the judge, you do what you have to do, but it better be real.:floorlaugh:

I took that to mean the rebuttal info which was not presented but is in the report. There is no new info. It's new to BAEZ who did not take the time to read the reports.

That's exactly what I understood JA to be saying as well. Also, let's not forget that HHJP has said on more than one occasion as "expert opinions and reports" has been discussed that there are always subopinions below the opinions expressed in the reports and subopinions are allowed into testimony without having to be in reports. He said that to both sides.

IMO

I'm gonna take this opportunity to run errands...I just want to mention the exchange where JA said, fine JB take a depo on these opinions....

JB jumps in.."See! He admitted it's new!! DAAAAD!

And JA Bellows: "NO I AM NOT!!!!!!" *sigh* *fans self*

Btw, HHJP has every opportunity to incorporate this stunt (if His Honor discovers it IS imaginary, as most of us expect) into BAEZ' PENDING CONTEMPT HEARINGS. HHJP said he would decide what to w/ JB after the trial---and I think it's hi-larious that JB is being so rude to the judge, forgetting the same judge is about a week away from deciding his professional fate. hhhahahahahahhahahahahahha JMO. JMCattyLaughter

I think the judge should remand all attorneys to be sequestered at the courthouse and working until they get this carp dealt with. Depos done at the courthouse, lunches at courthouse, showers at courthouse. JUST LIKE THE JURY. Perhaps when JB doesn't have the comfort of his own bed, he will realize how quickly he needs to get this over with. And the freaking head ticking when he is being challenged by a REAL man is driving me to....sit on my hands. :loser:

Why can't we hit 'thanks' over and over!! ?? :woohoo:

To make her chest appear larger,IMO:banghead::banghead::banghead:

I'll add another, and to show LDB and CA that she has lost the weight they both discussed in Court and JB made KC stand up for CA to look at her.

So sad that she never got the chance to mature, and now, never will. Jail will keep her insulated even more.

Yes, we love ourselves some Hornsby but we have to remember he is here for the publicity also and self promotion - not just justice for Caylee...
But he has called everything right in this case. No matter his reason, he's not been wrong about how things have been going, and why HHJP decides x.y. or z.

So while JB goes searching for a missing brain ( not his ) report.. what exactly do we know about CA's work records .. We have to wait for DS to get medical attention first ? I didn't understand that this morning.....? Help

Can someone please state what the ultimate sanctions would be if this is an imaginary problem? I know disbarment is one, but can Jose be arrested, jailed, and fined heavily? And will HHJP actually do it?

I don't know the answer. But it was fantastic that HHJP made it clear he has their number.

Maybe JB just wants to watch the Wimbledon men's tennis semi-finals now going on?

Naw...he probably had a boat trip with Geraldo and an overnight on Geraldo's private island for the 4th .... awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I absolutely love his sense of humor. But I have a warped sense of humor myself :floorlaugh:

Does he have something personal with JB? He is a lawyer, no? Normally other lawyers don't trash their colleagues in public no matter what their personal feelings are.

Just curious.

Yes and the defense "cheerleaders" during the Scott Peterson trial said that there was NO evidence against SP and that he would be acquitted. He was found guilty of premeditated murder.

Then the "experts" said that he will not get the death pentalty-he had no prior convictions, he was a "good" man etc...he's on death row.

That's why I liked Nancy Grace back then. She predicted exactly what would happen, she was 100% right. I don't trust anyone (on tv) now to tell us what this jury will do.

listening to BS and Kathi B. is in the courtroom, she has tweeted the jurors have not been sent back to the hotel room at this point

The other I was giving my 15yo son the rundown on Ted Bundy, how he was personable, etc., and his methods of luring his victims (the cast, the dropped books) and my husband said "yep, and you'd probably have been one of his victims." Sad to say he's probably right. If I saw someone with a cast, on crutches, struggling with books, I would probably try to help them....

I grew up in Lawtey (about a mile from FSP) and my dad worked at the State Prison for 20 years. In that time, he obviously was exposed to virtually every prisoner held there, including those on death row. I remember him having to stay overnight at work and when I asked about it, my mom said, "He has to stay with an inmate. He'll be tired when he gets home." I later found out that he was Bundy's "Death Sergeant" and was assigned to spend the last 24 hours of Bundy's life with Bundy, so that he couldn't kill himself before the state got the chance. He's talked about Bundy freely (but not about the actual execution, other than to say, "It was quick."). He has said over and over that Bundy was really smart, seemed nice, charming, and they talked about a wide range of topics (politics, taxes, education, books, etc.) and that if you didn't know who/what he was, you could see yourself easily becoming his friend. I asked my dad a little about what he thought about KC (and compare her to TB), and he said "She thinks she's smarter than she is, which is the opposite of Bundy. He was exactly as smart as he thought he was. She would be better off playing nice to the jury, instead of throwing the dark looks, sneers, and pouts.

I think my time on WS has gotten to me. I read "dismemberment" in your post. I need to go take a nap.
