7/23/2010 Lisa and Hank Croslin Arrested

Huge shame and a drain on society.

I can just hear it, oh Misty I first met your dad in a trailer and he offered me my first hit of meth and it was true luv from there on out. All those times he knocked me upside the head, I totally deserved that and he did it out of love. Ron is a real keeper and I'm so proud your with him, I know you love him and I think it's great you protect him and lie for him, sweet little Haleigh, bless her soul but she's gone now so you should keep standing by your man, nothin you can do about Haleigh now. :banghead:

Of course this is just my thoughts on how a conversation between MC and her mom would go, something along those lines. :(

BBM       I'm so afraid you're right....

And again No Haleigh so all this BS has nothing to due with Haleigh. go back to lurking

  • #124
It is time for Flo Hollars to make a talk show appearance. I miss her....what a hoot!

AND all this BS has everything to do with Haleigh!

  • #125
They want one of these......(fill in the blanks) to tell them where Haleigh is...period.

  • #126
Once they are assigned to the Big House, it may take many years to get info, if at all. Joe P and WBG are coming up within two weeks. Do these two know something? From that point on, they are all going away. I am afraid with each one, our hopes dim. LE is stepping it up .... time is short.

JMO if all this BS had anything to due with HaLeigh we all would know where she is. But again who knows anymore. I just want news real news about HaLeigh.

They have totally isolated misty. That tells me she is the prime suspect and they are taking pot shots at who will tell what happened. Throwing them all together could get tempers flying and maybe mouths talking chit, at least to each other. rc is going to be screaming inside and yelling about them killing Haleigh...I can hear him now. If he is not yelling, he is working behind the scenes with other inmates telling them all about these people....Looking and acting like the "Big Cheese". He loves having information...makes him look smart...he loves looking smart...that makes him think he is important. He is a legend in his own mind.

It all comes back to misty though. From the very first time we heard the story, she was on the chopping block and has remained there ever since.

It is easier to solve a case when educated people commit crime.

They could have actually been trying, or at least Hank. But if LE wanted them, they were going to get them.

IMO, that they were only charged with "purchase" and not possession makes me very suspicious that they were set up. If you purchase it...you have to have it in your possession. To get them for "purchase' they had to bust them right after the "buy." If the "bust" was legite why would they not charge with every possible charge?

IMO, I would not be surprised if someone offered them some "coke" for a dollar to buy a cup of coffee. Yes, it happens...druggies will "share" drugs with an agreement when you have some pay me back. If LE wanted them behind bars, they would not care if the entrapped them.

IMO, they could get them behind bars on probation violations. But they needed to catch them violating probation. A "set-up" purchase would be a probation violation. The charges they are arrest for do not need to stick to get a probation violation. Even if someone offered them drugs to entrap them, by being on probation they are not allowed to have drugs. So the "purchase" would eventually be dropped but they are in jail for violating their probation terms by "taking" drugs.

IMO, they wanted them behind bars with something they cannot quickly get out. Probation violation does that. They are hoping that Lisa will talk about the first couple days after Haleigh went missing and just maybe Ron's best friend Timmy will accept calls from Mom and/or Dad in jail.

I am in no way saying that they are not addicts or are not doing drugs. Just that this "bust" stinks as LE wanting them behind bars for reasons other than "purchasing" coke.
BBM

I don't for a minute believe that LE is "out to get" Lisa and Hank Croslin. It's only been a couple of months or so since their original charges were adjudicated with very favorable outcomes for the two of them. IMO, if LE was after these two, they would have drawn prison sentences instead of probation.

Do I think it's an accident that they have these new charges? Not likely, but LE has been thwarted at every juncture with nothing but lies from two key players in Haleigh's investigation who happen to be the offspring of these two. I think this could very well be the "straw that broke the camel's back" in the pressure for the truth that's being applied to Tommy and Misty.

After listening to hours of jailhouse tapes, I don't think anyone would doubt that there is genuine and sincere love, as best they know it, between the members of this family. The actions of Misty and Tommy resulting in their parents being caged like animals for a long time may be the last "straw" that LE has been looking for.

For Haleigh's sake, I pray it to be so.

LisaC may be the key ... one has to wonder if MC confided in her. Keep her locked up for awhile and see if she talks.

Because he's logical..

There are two reasons I can think of that he's keeping a very low profile and not providing public support of his family:

1 - He has no involvement with drugs and/or Haleigh, he knows nothing about the Haleigh case, he feels like he can support the rest of the Croslins privately and from afar, and he wants to protect his own family. OR

2 - He has some involvement or knowledge about the Haleigh case and wants to be as far out of PSCO/FDLE reach as possible.

Which is the real reason? His low profile has been markedly different than that of the rest of the Croslin family, including his wife. With all the rest of the Croslins in jail, it will be interesting to see if LE can play one against the others and what might be revealed.

Appreciate the info/link--but if it isn't a quote directly attributed to a player, I don't have much faith in his "blogs" as he hasn't been to Satsuma in over a year. Gve us the phone records he promised months ago--give us some facts. SO SICK OF THE COW MANURE. Where the heck is Haleigh. I am disgusted with these adults ( ala Ant) saving their grown kids butts. I will go into a corner now. :banghead:

It must have been a light-headed moment for me to link to an AH blog because usually I grumble about his "sources" and their many versions. I agree, we want to see those promised phone records.

Maybe this is what Teresa and John Merchant had to meet and talk about this week. Get all the Croslin's on drug charges and in jail Sure would make Ron look better and noone will talk about his reduced sentences.

arghhh so annoying

why is it so difficult for these people to do the right thing

I've completely lost faith that this case will ever be solved

I think in 20 years we will be watching a cold case special on Haleigh and half these people who were in her life will be dead from drugs; the other half will be doing interviews from jail still claiming the same crapola

I just cannot stand it anymore

Haleigh - I'm sorry sweetheart that you were born into such a messed up family & I hope your brother has a better chance in life

I believe Hank Sr has mentioned it in a few of the jailhouse tapes with Tommy that he would be far better off behind bars himself than living where he is living now. I thought he mentioned that at least he'd get medical attention for his back, have 3 square meals and a roof over his head or something to that affect. IMO

Respectfully snipped & BBM You have many valid points - LE may have wanted to put them behind bars for other reasons and yes they may "only" have them for purchasing - which is a parole violation, as is using and generally even hanging out with other users - but IMO even a set up means they agreed to the purchase and/or they are in the mind set to use.

It is also so possible that LE was "made aware" of the purchase and it was not a set up. Before they were able to move in on the arrest, the alleged buyers used the product - so now LE must wait for drug test result before adding being under the influence. If they are steady users a "cup a coffee" worth is not going to put either of them under the table - but taking a gander at Hank's mug shot is sort of "eye opening" IYKWIM.

For whatever reason LE has not been able to prove one d@mn thing regarding Haleigh's disappearance - even with a "confession of sorts" and they are running out of time in regards to the Croslins. If putting the whole family behind bars (legally) will solve that problem - I don't have a problem with it. Toss in a few Cummings and it should get really interesting. Haleigh was a 5 year old baby and those who should have protected her didn't, since that time they have been protecting the perp.

I dont think the Croslins were picked up for anything other than they were trying to buy drugs and they got caught, and they are so screwed because they are on probation. I wonder if Tommy and his Dad are in GP together? That has to be a special bonding time!

I think they both know what happened, either because Misty or Tommy told them, or because they're not stupid, & they know their kids, & figured it out. I'm thinking Lisa may be a little more involved. On those tapes, Hank didn't act like a dad who was demanding answers. Normal parents would've beaten the answers out of them, before they all got busted. Where was the outrage? the pleading? the reasoning with Misty to come clean, in order to help herself? Early on, Hank made a point of saying, that Misty was his wildest child, & the boys were so much better. I thought that was mean & unnecessary , (I would never put one child down while comparing her to another), & now I'm a little suspicious that he was defending his sons, because he suspected something. IDK what Timmy was up to, but Tommy had stolen a gun from a blind man, (WITH HIS DEAR OLD MOM)), had gotten into a physical fight with his dad, had gotten some kind of domestic charges filed involving Lindsey, had gotten busted at the bus stop, had committed home burglaries, had the neighbors talking about his odd behavior, had Misty accusing him of 'messing' with her, when she was younger, had Misty calling him a crackhead...& he's the good kid? I don't think so. & now we have Hank saying that he, himself, was on that fishing trip & heard Joe talking about dumping a body. again, I don't think so. It sounds like Hank, is once again, trying to muddy the waters & keep suspicion off of Tommy. Hank & Lisa went to Ron's hearing, IMO, because they were worried about Tommy being threatened with murder charges. They were just looking out for their boy. MOO. Also, I've said this before, but I think it bears repeating. Hank IMO, was very manipulative towards Misty, in a jail recording. In one breath, he was talking about moving, & in the next breath, (after getting Misty extremely upset), relayed the message from Tommy asking why she hated her brother. Misty, in tears, said 'I don't hate my brother'. This was right after , (paraphrasing here), Misty said, 'you guys aren't gonna come see me anymore?' & let me just say, that conversation made me furious, & made me like Hank, a lot less.

But the night that Haleigh went missing, Hank and Lisa are accounted for, sleeping in a hospital. I dont think going to Rons almost trial had anything to do with Tommy, and especially since it was about drugs, and not Tommy, or murder charges. I also believe if Lisa or Hank knew anything credible they would have told it to another relative to tell to get the reward money and split, as far as I know these people are living in a little room without any money. Hank Sr is the only one who admits they are all stupid and pleads with Misty to not lie and tell the truth.

Sadly, I dont think Misty is going to get any more visitors at this point.
