Yeah, but remember, there were all these other people involved in this murder about which the defense is unable to mention so we have to calmly put in our foil hats and open our minds….the headphones are obviously in the Candyman van.

Yep, you've nailed it :D

Scolding gallery for talking explained

DELPHI, Ind. — A computer analysis expert testified on Tuesday and claimed that her findings revealed that a headphone jack was plugged into Libby German’s phone only 10 minutes after it stopped moving.

The jack then disconnected nearly five hours later in the dead of night.

This shocking revelation was revealed to jurors for the first time and caused a stir within the courtroom that eventually led to Special Judge Fran Gull scolding the gallery for talking.

Just one more thing to obfuscate and confuse.

From your link: “Eldridge said her analysis of the findings led her to the conclusion that the phone last connected to a cell phone tower at 5:44 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2014. This is a little over 10 minutes after Libby’s phone quit moving.”

I thought we were told it quit moving at 2:32pm??? Moo but really?????

I don't know if I am more amazed with the defense's expert saying the water can't affect the port or with the fact that the state's expert had to made a google search to confirm that water can affect the port..
Yeah this whole thing is ridiculous and such a failure on part of LE and the prosecutors, to me it’s embarrassing all around, I had wrote in previous threads someone should have followed up with the conservation officer’s report, and you could question should he even have been the person delegated to take the report, and LE dismisses the FBI as well, my opinions only

What a Horrific and Tragic day In Delphi, IN for family and friends of
LIBERTY (LIBBY) AND ABIGAL (ABBY) FEB 14th 2017 !!

DELPHI, Ind. -- Two bodies found along a northern Indiana stream are those of two teenage girls who went missing Monday and their deaths are being investigated as homicides, authorities said on Wednesday.
State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said autopsies performed Wednesday determined that the bodies are those of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, both of Delphi.

Q: with iPhone 6 wasn’t water damage checked for via the SIM card cage or something? A red dot meant water and no dot meant not water? Kinda think this is how they checked one of my iPhones maybe the 6?
This link says so - which makes me wonder, did anyone check for a red mark? Moo
How about damaged by blood....

Also the wet blood that drenched the ground would have also made its way into the ear plug-in jack (port).
:0(
I just reddit and googled the subject and you are not alone by far for the same thing happening with iPhones and iPads too. The headphone's jack indication says headphones are plugged in when there are not. This is what the defense team thinks is an important issue? It's laughable

McLeland was quick to question Eldridge’s expertise, pointing out that she’s had no cell phone extraction training between 2009 – 2024. She’s also never testified about cell phone extractions until she did so in July for the first time.

Eldridge conceded that she didn’t have a chance to review all of Cecil’s data and cell phone findings. She agreed with the time stamps on the videos and photos and that the lost logged movement of the phone was at 2:32 p.m. – but did not agree that it meant it was the last time the phone moved.

She conceded she didn’t know the service in the area of Deer Creek and that it was possible the phone was just going in and out of service.

What a circus. How was she even qualified as an expert?

Also from the same link: “
Bunner’s questioning was even briefer as he was asked if he knew what audio output meant.

“No,” he said.

He was asked if he did any Google searches during the break.

“No,” he said.

Yikes. Moo.

Bolden by you...
I didn't catch this earlier today.

OUCH!!!

This is insanity. It was clearly from water damage. What is the defense’s theory, that they kidnapped two girls for a ritual sacrifice and decided to listen to some of their music on the drive? I sincerely hope the prosecution is able to cross effectively on this, because the entire scenario is just absolutely ridiculous.

Respectfully, how can it be "clearly from water damage" when it started exactly at 5:45 pm and ended exactly at 10:32 pm?

I agree.
One of the big problems is the news outlets that are writing headlines that make this sound like a big deal when it’s not. They are not waiting for the cross examination or the whole story.
Fortunately the jury is not reading those headlines but they sound like they are getting frustrated with the half truths the defense is throwing out.

First, this is the witness's opinion....
Second how does anyone know how long or short it takes for water, debris and blood to move in and damage a headphone jack?
