Can't believe I ave to leave but can't put off my errands any longer. Bbl.

If this turns out to be a random stalker fixation-type kidnapping, it is too bad that so much of Samantah's past had to be exposed, and embellished...I know it is necessary to look at the victim, but it is totally possible, with this guy, that her past had nothing to do with the kidnapping. JMO

Re my bold... Ms Anderson could have told her neighbors that Israel left on vacation a months ago & when le investigated and/or interviewed these neighbors, they said he'd been on vacation for quite some time. A month or 2 ciuld be considered a long time. Just brainstorming...

I wish I knew WHEN Keyes had returned to TX. LE says they know but they aren't saying?

I guess it's possible that he met SK going to the hut for morning coffees, maybe developed a crush on her, perhaps was even there earlier in the day and said "Oh what time are you stuck working until?" (so he'd know when she got off work) and he swung back around that evening and nabbed her. OR had been watching to see what time she left, waiting for the BF to not be there? Then did something with her and ended up bolting back to TX.

I don't see him carting her through Canada, across the border and into TX with him. And I still question using her credit cards. People KNOW that stuff is tracked. If he kidnapped and harmed her it seems REALLY far stretched to believe that he'd then be dumb enough to use her credit cards.

Does anyone know if SK's hours at the hut were set ? Ie; did she always work the same hours on any given day?

I don't think it has been mentioned anywhere in the media that her cards were specifically used by IK. For all we know LE might have tracked him because he used a stolen card (and not SK's) at the coffee shack prior to the abduction.

Perhaps they did a general look for any criminal activity.

Also I don't know about in the states, but in the UK all cards have Miss or Mr written on them, unless he's very good at cross dressing it may have been impossible for him to use her card.

One thing that I hate to think about, but can't help doing...if this was totally random and Samantha was totally caught off guard...she must have been thinking that she would be reported missing within a matter of minutes, since she was expecting her ride...

Is it the general consensus that he drove from Alaska to Texas?

I really can't imagine he drove to Texas from Alaska. It seems like he would have wanted to get away with more urgency. It was also stated that his truck was towed into custody from the residence in Anchorage. He could have had another vehicle, but I'm guessing he flew. IMO

If it turns out he was hired by CB, everything would make more sense.

Anyone know what CB did for a living besides trying to make it in the music biz?

I'll say in the US it's pretty easy to use someone else's cc.

The fact that they've charged with access fraud says he most likely used someones cards. It's not a huge leap to conclude that he was using SK's card and that's how they located this man. In fact, it seems the only possible way they could have singled him out as being linked to SK's disappearance.

Even had he used a stolen card at the hut , a "general look" for criminal activity wouldn't have linked him to Sam and there's no criminal background to make LE think "Hmm. This guy used a stolen credit card at the hut, maybe he took Sam, let's issue an arrest warrant for access fraud and see what he knows."

Cards in the US don't always have Mr / Mrs printed on them. The only one we have that does is my husbands bank card. I'm not on the account, we have different last names .... it says MR. 🤬🤬🤬 XXXXXX and I use it frequently without any issues. Most clerks never even see the card... you just swipe it and go.

That also corroborates LE's statement that they knew when he arrived in Texas. In Texas, there are a ton of "buy-here-pay-here" car lots who will sell to pretty much anyone w/o any credit or credible job. I think he could have gotten a car when he arrived in Texas. It was stated earlier as well that LE was going to be staying in Texas for a few days to serve other search warrants - I wonder for what? A residence? Phone records?

wasn't there a BOLO on the vehicle? (I guess if he used a stolen card to rent a car that would work with that theory as well however)

Early on it was reported that Sam left a note the night she was kidnapped for the morning shift asking if she had to work Saturday. She was abducted on a Wednesday, so it seems like she maybe only workd a couple of shifts a week, and asking about working Saturday implies she didn't have a regular schedule, and that they didn't post one in the hut.

this case (fbi, kidnapping, crossing state lines, federal warrant, person still missing)
is reminding me a lot of Sherry Arnold's case and what we may be in store for re: extradition hearings, warrants sealed, etc etc etc.....

I'm guessing for phone records, but the real reason they are there IMO is probably to interrogate IK and find out what he knows.

Help me out here...can't think of what BOLO would mean... ;)

BOLO: be on the lookout

On the news video I saw it was stated he was pulled over for a routine traffic stop, when his information was run it was revealed he had a warrant for access fraud so he was taken into custody.

I guess that's not to say there wasn't a BOLO on the vehicle, and I'd assume they were tailing him (probably hoping that he would lead them to Sam) but I wonder why there wasn't more hurry to arrest him. Unless they simply were hoping that somehow he'd take them to Sam somehow. But that seems a big risk to take ? ? ? Why not just pull him in immediately on the access fraud charges for questioning rather then issue a warrant and wait and watch ?

I know none of my cc's have Miss, Ms or Mrs. on them. So often now, you don't even have to hand your card to the person at the register, you just swipe it through the credit/debit machine. I use a credit card in my husband's name all the time at the grocery store, and nobody has ever said a thing.
