If an eviction is filed and the tenant does not file a motion to pay the rent current in order to stop the eviction, this is what happens. It is removed from the apartment and left to be claimed (sometimes in a storage unit for a period of time, sometimes on the curb).

Police don't empty apartments when there is an eviction notice.

I think that is a really important fact to sort out. Was the ex-boyfriend in jail on the night of July 17? If not, I think that opens a realistic possibility of potential suspects in Danni's disappearance.
From your mouth to Gods ear! This question has been searched extensively and asked repeatedly with no results. We have heard a variety of accounts for TT: TT jail for 5 days, jail for 5 weeks, in rehab, no rehab, special release for vigil, on parole, no parole etc. How complicated can the scenario for a single individual be to sort out? TT is a repeat drug offender, possibly dishonorably discharged from the military, along with other serious criminal offenses who has not been publicly cleared by LE (as have none of his family members). TT has not spoken publicly to the press about the missing DNV. Has TT spoken to MPD? Does TT know anything that could possibly help to find DNV and why hasn't he spoken to offer any assistance?

I asked about the apartment because I am a defense lawyer and I spend my whole life looking at evidence. It is what I do for a living. When there is a criminal investigation of a company we are served with a litigation hold that means you must preserve everything and not delete or destroy documents, evidence, places, things. The hold is indefinite until the investigation is complete. I would treat a missing person with at least the same evidence preservation I would a company's office. Obviously no one expects anyone to keep a missing person's apartment for years but a few months while a homicide investigation is ongoing seems reasonable. I am surprised no one tried to work with MPD and the landlord to hold the apartment.

And no disrespect to anyone involved with this case, but when young women go missing their intimate partners are often the prime suspect. Over 55% of murdered women are murdered by past or present intimate partners. Only 16% of murdered women are murdered by strangers. The odds are she was harmed by someone who has been to her apartment before. That is the reason we are discussing the apartment. I was under the mistaken assumption that it was being covered while detectives worked to solve the case.

It's not a homicide investigation. The case was turned over to the Homicide Division because the Homicide Division has 6 Detectives whereas the Missing Persons Division has 1 Receptionist. However, LE has not indication that there has been a homicide. Therefore, standard procedure regarding evictions does take effect.

As far as preserving evidence/keeping the apartment available for such, I have been given the okay to quote JDT: "LE went in Friday afternoon [7/20/18] with CSI & they fingerprinted the whole apartment. Later homicide went through and checked out the apartment and apparently gave the go-ahead [for the eviction]."

I have seen no evidence that TT was in jail on July 17. He was last arrested April 25 for burglary and has previous cases in 2017 for DUI.

I think this is an important fact! If there is absolutely no paper trail to support the claim that TT was in jail, then he wasn't in jail. If he wasn't in jail, I'm curious why anyone would claim that he was in jail. More importantly, where was he between the hours of 10:30PM and 5AM on July 17 and July 18?

This question has been asked repeatedly with no concrete answer or documentation.

@LaylaD Here's something that can be sleuthed.

I only have answers to the last 2 questions - yes, TT has spoken to MPD and TT has been active in trying to locate DNV.

Maybe someone has capabilities/access to databases that can sleuth out the rest though, if so, I don't think it's within TOS to post here since he is not considered a suspect or POI by LE.

Homicide detectives are investigating her disappearance, so this must be a homicide investigation.

TT was not in jail according to official records, so he apparently does not have an alibi.

Sadly nothing new. No LE update. No DNV. No Chevy Cruze. No Press Reports or Press Activity. No updates on unidentified bodies in Mobile. No info or statements from any member of the Party train or anyone that might have seen DNV the night she went missing. In short, nothing.

We have spent alot of time trying to understand a sequence of events that is believed to have come from one of the members of the party train who might or might not be a suspect and a sequence of events which as of yet is unconfirmed by LE. Not sure how productive this is at all given that we are two months into the process?

We still don't have any consensus on voluntary or involuntary missing of DNV.

Involuntary.

Typically everyone is a suspect until they can be officially ruled out.

<bolded by me>

I think this is at the heart of many of the questions about the rent/eviction discussion. I’ve noticed that those participating in sleuthing a case at WS become very attached to, I’d even say love, the victims and are very empathetic and caring. They feel for the victim deeply and it becomes more than just an exercise in logic to try and help. Althea made a very valid reason for the importance of protecting the apt as is and I think there were others who had same concerns. I’m just saying this so you’ll perhaps better understand why it seems posters sometimes get hung up on one aspect for a bit.

AL's eviction process was also mentioned by someone else with links to back it up.

I have responded to Althea, per JDT - see above.

Actually we do have the statement from MPD Homicide that they were taking over the case but they didn't believe it was a homicide. This statement was previously posted but if you want it let me know and I will repost.

It is not a homicide investigation. I have explained why/staffing within the Missing Persons & Homicide Units.

I think she means he hasn't been named a suspect or POI and we can only sleuth people in media. Are jail records allowed to be posted if someone isn't named in MSM? It's public record but I'm not sure, I feel like I have seen it go both ways

TT & JDT have been officially ruled out; the statement just has not been made by LE.

It must have been completely random strangers that pulled into the Shell station and caused Danni and her car to vanish. It's a good thing they knew about the GPS system at the Shell station so they could disable it and ensure that they couldn't be tracked.

Again, DW was Car 1 & DNV is Car 2. It is unknown for sure who Car 3 is - it could be DW again or it could be complete strangers (to DNV, at least).
