No, LE never said she was the driver. I will go back and rewatch the MSM report done by the reporter whose station had posted the video that was later removed as I recall some reference to DNV driving.

I saw today someone asked why JV (DNV's mother) didn't head to Mobile. I don't know, but I was thinking about it. JV is the only person LE would actually provide any information to (if they felt it wouldn't harm the investigation) since she is DNV's blood relative and next of kin. They may have told JV that they are investigating what they believe happened and they will let her know if they feel they are close to finding DNV where she would want to come to Mobile. If they are not organizing public searches, and JV does not have any family or friends in Mobile, what would JV do? JV early on said "it was a carjacking" - I thought it was just her opinion, but maybe that's how LE described it to her? If LE does not think the person is "missing" as in, handing out fliers will help, then there is no much for JV to do in Mobile.

I think it's fair to ask why not, though. She could have helped with DNV's apartment too.

This is what we know about when she was last seen. This says nothing about the eye witness statement from DW that she drove to the Shell station.

"Danniella was last seen Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in the 3500 block of Government Blvd. wearing a dark-colored Mellow Mushroom shirt, a light-colored hat, and black legging style pants with a light-colored shirt tied around her waist. She was occupying a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz with a Pearl Motors paper tag."

Why would we jump to the conclusion that because the CCTV footage is poor quality, and no one could see people getting out of cars, that no one got out of the cars?

I have not been implying anything in the negative from the footage. It was so long ago I barely remember but based on my recollection and the reporter's report, I think you can see the headlights of the cars and not much else. That doesn't mean other things didn't happen that aren't visible in the video. It only means at the least, Car 1 drove in at 11:05...etc.

The extra stop would matter if DNV wasn't the driver. Maybe the last time he saw her she WAS getting in her vehicle, just not at the Shell station. If they stopped along the way that's ample opportunity for someone else to get into her car if no one else was with her leaving Dublins.

I just question whether she was actually the driver of her car during the entire, or any, of the post-Dublins time period. Im not saying she wasn't, I'm just saying I don't think we can safely assume someone from another vehicle caused the GPS to stop functioning when there has been no confirmed statements that anyone, DW included, exited (or didn't exit) their vehicles at the Shell.

It also matters what time they left, if they left at 10:45 or later it's reasonable to assume they didn't stop before the Shell and it took 20 minutes to get there- maybe they hit some red lights. If he is only Car 1 and not Car 3, he leaves at 11:07- 30 minutes later he texts MK and says he's at Dublins getting the phone and lost her long the way. That to me says he just got there and was letting the others know what was going on. If he was both Car 1 and Car 3, he hauled ass back to Dublin's to make it the in half the time or he lied about being at Dublins at 11:37. In which case makes his entire statement, as told by family, unreliable.

This reporter has been with the case since the beginning and makes the very clear statement that DNV left the Shell station alone driving her car. Wonder why LE didn't confirm this statement? This report also says that Pearl Motors pinged the car trying to help and confirmed that her trip started at Dublin's and ended at the Shell station. With regards to payment for the car, this is something we don’t have confirmation on.

I just listened to the radio interview posted by the VI; car was financed. Baby was from a brief boyfriend & given up in an open adoption. Confirms that she & DW did actually leave the Shell Station in separate cars and split up with Danni going towards a populated area.

Then the footage is clear enough to make out whether anyone was out of any vehicle at any point at the Shell.

You don't believe that the technology is out there to clean up the footage to the point where we can at least verify cars and number of people? If Mobile can't do it then why not seek out assistance?
When the Chief asks the public for help what are they supposed to be looking for other than DNV and/or her car? I question the entire process of asking for public help with no additional information, pictures, graphics etc. We have so many examples of information put out by MPD to catch criminals that I don't understand why that hasn't happened here? Even if pictures are fuzzy that fuzzy image might jog someones memory? Why wasn't this done weeks ago?

That depends on the quality of the camera. If police had any idea about the make and model of Car 3, they would not be out of leads in early August. I completely understand why police would not release poor quality images - look what happened with the Delphi murders and the photo of the suspect on the bridge?

I think it is possible LE could of seen something, but folks who saw it have indicated it was too grainy and dark to determine if anyone got in or out of the cars. That to me does not mean it did not happen.

1. Danni & TT lived together in the apartment, but only as "best friends". TT is grieving for Danni (as if she is deceased). Daughter lived with "MIL", and it took a week for her to notice her Mom was gone.
2. There is more footage showing DV driving away from Shell Station towards a more populated area, and DW going opposite direction.

This is a good interview! This is honestly the most reasonable I've heard anyone in the JDT world discuss the case. They are not releasing the names of the 3 people who were with DNV that night.

She did not refer to the father of the baby, at all, other than saying it was a brief relationship.
She says DV and TT broke up 6 months ago (during her pregnancy obviously) and had a tumultuous relationship. They lived together and co-parented as "best friends".
It's my opinion only but I feel like she alluded to the fact that DV separated from DW to get drugs. She said earlier that I learned from posts that DV definitely did not use drugs other than maybe weed. We know this from that one court document she was accused and pictured. I got the feeling that she is in recovery mode, and not missing person mode. =(

We do not know DNV but TT has been arrested for heroin possession with intent to distribute so that's why I kept asking about harder drugs. That's a different and much more dangerous world than drinking and smoking pot.
