I would assume her being a young single mom their may not be recent dental X-rays available. I could be wrong. Next up JDT interview and the laughing let’s please all remember people handle emotions different. The Dads 911 call on the Isabella Celis case instantly made me think he had to be guilty and I was so wrong.
Yeah, I take interviews with a grain of salt. I've seen the pitchforks come out so many times that ended up being completely incorrect. Natalie Bollinger case - people thought it was her dad who hurt her after his interview. Wrong. Members of Mollie Tibbets family. So many people.

It is not the laughing that stood out to me as much as the unfinished thoughts, as if she was about to say something, paused and recollected herself. And a lot of eye contact avoidance. It was just odd overall to me.

I also think it's hard to be completely objective after seeing the circus of the past 9 months. This is not Danniella's mother or family. This is the family of her abusive ex. If you are new to the thread you may want to take a look at the past threads while we wait for an update from MPD.

BBM- based on. Almost sounds like the thought was stopped. How JDT paused and the finished with not based on tips...

She seems to be more or less babbling during the interview, speaking in phrases that don't really make much sense. Maybe an interview with Danni's mother would offer some insight. Someone from Mobile media should take the time so speak to someone from Danni's family.

Yes, her input on this case could be very interesting....moo

We have no idea what her story is. Danni moved with her mother-in-law's family to Mobile as a young adult, but the most recent information prior to her disappearance was that she was mending the relationship with her mother. Her mother must have something to say about funeral plans, and that she looks forward to answers about how her daughter's life ended with burial in a car submerged in water.

If I am remembering correctly Danni's Mom joined WS here in a really odd way? Didn't she have an odd user name or have a thread opened with a odd title. I am really shocked I cannot remember because I really was offended as I thought it was disrespectful. A couple of us here had reached out to her on FB and asked her to join. She agreed and shortly after the odd thread or user name appeared. I tried to reach out to her on FB to confirm if it was her but she never responded.

Someone with a very odd user name claimed to be Danniella's mother, but it did not seem authentic.

Now would be a good time for media to seek out Danni's family and ask for a comment, or to reflect for a moment about her life and provide information about final resting place.

Just fyi if anyone was curious the time stamps on the surveillance video reported by NBC15 Exclusive: Surveillance video may show missing Mobile mother

11:05 2 cars pull into Shell Station (car 1 DW and car 2 DNV)
11:07 one car leaves (car 1 DW)
11:08 another car pulls in (car 3 mystery person)
11:24 both cars leave
That gives someone 16 minutes to disable the gps tracker on DNV's car

There is just no way that you can't see people out of the car(s) or make out how many people were there and generally what they are doing in the surveillance video. Oh I wish they would release it!!

Also JDT isn't DNV's mother in law. DNV and TT were not married (thank goodness), I know we had some discussion months ago about "well it's easier" (which was also JDT's justification for going by mother in law when she was finally called out on it) but I just don't want to give JDT that title that she so badly wanted to portray for the media early on. Ex-boyfriend's mom or JDT or baby's grandmother? JMO

Thank you. I am guilty of calling Dannis' ex-boyfriend's mother the "mother-in-law" even though I know better. It's true that the woman I've referred to as "mother-in-law" is really a woman that Danni knew through a former boyfriend, and who was instrumental in removing Danni's child from her care as soon as the child was born. Danni was in the process of securing parental rights of her child when she vanished days before the hearing.

There's some confusion regarding statements made by this woman after Danni vanished. Specifically, she states that Danni intended to give up all custody rights at the hearing. That does not ring true.

Danni made a list of goals on June 17, one month before she disappeared. Goals after purchasing her car (which she did on the day she vanished) were to have her daughter with her 80% of the time, to enrol her in two sports including dance, to organize her daughter's bedroom, and to walk her to school every day.

Which was it: was Danni abandoning her child to this woman, or was she fighting with everything she had to have her daughter returned to her care?

Someone mentioned Occam's Razor, which means that, when you look at all the facts, the simplest answer, regardless of how improbable, is usually the correct one.

In this case we have a 25 year old woman who was working two jobs as a waitress, who presented no threat to anyone, who had secured a two bedroom apartment, a car and was determined to resume responsibilities of raising her daughter.

She was days away from making major strides towards goals regarding her daughter when she vanished. She didn't just vanish, but her car vanished too, and her car didn't just vanish, but someone knew that the car she owned for half a day had GPS and that it had to be disabled to prevent tracking the car. This was not the abduction of a 25 year old woman, and it was not the theft of a new car, this was erasing all trace of her and her car at the Shell station.

Who might have the dual goals of stealing a car and abducting a woman? The disappearance of both opens the possibility that she voluntarily disappeared. Who would want the world to consider the possibility that she voluntarily abandoned her life?

Also if you're (not you @otto I know you're not) in the camp that believes she did left voluntarily to start a new life two questions-
1- why wouldn't car 3 have come forward to say either to police or publicly that they know DNV decided to leave?? After so many months I think someone would have talked if it meant that they wouldn't be getting in trouble because all they did was help her leave. Right? Wouldn't you be scared/worried you might be implicated for her disappearance, knowing LE has this surveillance camera footage, wouldn't you come forward and say all I did was help her leave?
2- if DNV did leave and for whatever reason happened to end up in that (as far as we know) very random neighborhood and happened to drive her car accidentally into the down a boat ramp and into the water wouldn't she have had time to get out? This isn't like fast rushing water that flipped her car all around and carried it down stream. The back window was down, even if the car sunk quickly I'd think she'd be able to get herself out. I also personally don't think she'd be going fast enough to accidentally knock herself out when hitting the water. Also have you ever driven with just one back window down? It hurts your ears. Why would DNV have only had the back drivers side window down?

Occam's Razor says she voluntarily left when you look at the fact that it was DNV's first night with a new car and the gps tracker was disabled. But I just think it kinda ends there. When you look at the other facts, I can't get to that conclusion that she did this herself. Plus it's not even like this was her first car, she's had a car before. Why now? Why when her life was turning around for the better would she decide she wanted to escape it?

I know this is a little odd to think about considering everything else we can discuss regarding this case, but the note on her list of goals about paying her library fees really meant something to me for some reason, not sure why. It seems like such a small thing for her to worry about with her other goals but it was important to her. Maybe so she could take her daughter to the library. I just always thought about that goal.

To me it showed that the goals were not some “pie in the sky, maybe in a few years these will come true” type of goals. They were short and long term realistic goals she had set for herself and was actively working towards attaining them. They run contrary to the notion that she would purchase a car and take off into the sunset without saying anything and/or taking her daughter with her.

If police knew who was in the third car, they would know who disabled the GPS and why it was done. They would know whether she planned to start a new life or return to the pub to collect her phone. The last information they have about Danni is from her friend, the driver of the first car. According to him, she was right behind him as they returned to the pub to collect her phone.

If her friend disabled her GPS with her consent, he should have admitted that he messed up by helping her with it, and police could move forward knowing that Danni intended to disappear.

Occam's Razor brings us to the question of who benefits from Danni and her car vanishing such that it appears that she chose to drive away and abandon her life? Who started rumors about Danni being a drunken drug user who might abandon her life, or being so drunk that she might drive into the water?

Wait a minute, did someone mention early on that she might have been so drunk that she drove into the water? I know that was discussed here, but now I'm curious about who first made the suggestion.
