Alright, who are the media people in Mobile AL? Tomorrow I will tweet at them instead of working. lol

The MIL had them listed with links on her facebook page. I think Fox local has been the most consistent on this case. But the media has been showing up on this case but they haven't been pushing LE at all with probing questions. I've been reading more about crime in Mobile tonight and its interesting to say the least. Also trying to learn more about the Chief and his mandate. Its a high crime city for sure and there is alot of violent crime and vehicle crime. The port adds a level of complexity to the overall situation from a crime standpoint as well. I'm curious if DV had anyone in her life that wasn't tainted by run ins with LE and poor choices?

DV is worth much much more than the car if human traffiking going rates are to be believed. It seems far fetched to me to steal a car and a human but I guess stranger things have happened.

If it were the dealer doing this it would make more sense to me. I'm not sure friends unless they were desparate tweekers etc. would do such a thing. Anything is possible with no information so we can keep creating scenarios until the cows come home or not....

Nope. You nailed a possible solution and neatly tied up the loose ends as to why none of the people on the party train called the police to report DL missing. Kudos! Would also explain why none of the party train people have stepped forward into the light and why LE isn't talking about the party train people. Food for thought for sure IMO! What do you think they were doing in the car for 15 mins or so?

That's where my theory gets real foggy. Forcing her to perform a sexual act (I really hated typing that) at gun or knife point? Or perhaps they were inexperienced at disabling the GPS? Had trouble getting the panel open? Didn't now which fuse it was? Had to take each one out to determine if it disabled the GPS before replacing it and trying the next one?

My other theory is that DV purposely lost her phone...flashed her lights to get Car 1 to pull over and gave Car 1 the lost phone story so that Car 1 would return to Dublin's to try and find it. Meanwhile, Car 3 was following her (and she knew it) and they helped her disable her GPS so that she could leave to start a new life without the burden of the child. This theory feels all wrong though based on her published goals. However, it fits with the lost phone, the disabled GPS and the fact that neither the car nor DV have been found.

I've been trying to think about some other cases, but this one just keeps popping in my head. I'm hoping by sharing my thoughts I can free up some brain power towards other cases....remains to be seen though.

There's a couple options for that car for GPS. If her phone was powering it, the phone could have been turned off
OnStar, which could have been registered to last owner, and was turned off due to new owner, or the free trial ran out. And the nav system -with GPS , may have simply died- known for issues. There was an "add-on" version as well for this car. It could have crapped out too

If she was going to run away, she probably would have taken the cash in her apartment. I feel like if she were going to leave, she could have just told everyone she was going to leave. JDT already had custody of her daughter, she could have just said she was moving to XYZ state to find a better job and would let everyone know how she was doing. It's not like she had to look after her daughter everyday, you know? Argg Danniella where are you!

Sunday 7/29 no new information. We Still need to find her. Love to all.

Update: I'm sorry to say that I have no new information on Danniella Vian. But I was informed today that it has been moved to a homicide investigation. I will assume that this is based on the amount of time that she has been missing. I know the investigators are working tirelessly to find her. We are not giving up until she is home. God bless you for all of your prayers.

It's been 7 days now and absolutely no leads to find her. I am setting up a gofundme account to raise the funds for her search efforts. If it goes well, i will also be able to offer an award for information. I'm simply not in a position to do this on my own and we are Desperate to find her. I appreciate all of you.

Update. The last "ping" on her car was on Govt Street at the shell station by I65 Tues. Night about 11pm after that it seems to be disabled. She was "supposed" to follow a friend back to Dublin's to look for her phone but never arrived.

This is my daughter-in-law, she has not called her daughter Cora and knows my number by heart! I've filled a report and she will be on the news tonight. Something is not right! Please keep your eyes out for her or her car. Thank you!

The mother of a missing Mobile woman says she fears the worst but she's hoping for the best.

Joy Vian's daughter, Danniella Vian, has been missing for over a week. Danniella is the mother of a four-year-old girl.

“Danniella is a strong, independent woman. If anyone can find their way home, she will," said Joy Vian as she speaks to News 5 on the phone from her North Carolina home.

Joy says she's been in touch with investigators the past few days. “I’m sick to my stomach. I’m going through every emotion possible from balling my eyes out, to anger, to being in shock. I’m pretty rampant of every emotion you can imagine.”

Car jacking was one of the earlier theories on here as Mobile is one of the hotspots in the nation for not only auto theft but illegal export of cars from all over the country via the port. But for the Mom to say she was car jacked and abducted is quite strong with no ambiguity about what she thinks. Wow! But if this were true it would make the inaction of local LE even more baffling. But you have to wonder what the stats are on getting your first car and getting carjacked on the same day you pick up the car? I seriously have questions about that dealer and unfortunately we have no info as to whether they are part of the shady underworld of stolen cars etc. She could have been easily set up by the dealer as it appeared they still had access to the GPS so would know precisely where she was with the car.

IMO, yes. They just found Jacob Caldwell immediately after his billboard was put up.
