Reacher, what does your gut tell you would happen if perhaps we came too close to connecting at least portions of this puzzling case?

You know, you’re right. Years ago my ex SIL bought a car on pmts which he fell behind on. One night he drove over here to give daughter $$ for kids. He went back outside to leave and car was gone from the driveway. He called the police to report and they told him the dealer hauled it off. LE was notified in advance somehow.

I've been reading about some of the tracking that these independent used car places use and its scary that they can track their cars 24/7. But if DV bought for cash presumably there was no reason for Pearl Motors to track her car. I just thought that it was odd that Pearl was the one that seemed to be able to ping the car and not LE. Seemed invasive to me if it was Pearl doing the pinging. Absent any information I am suspicious of Pearl Motors and have been from day 1 on here.
Reacher, I have to admit that I am scratching my head as to the reasoning to back off now. Do you perhaps have any inside information that is compelling? If so please share and we can all make our own decision as to how to proceed. Are you being threatened by anyone involved with the case and are scared? If so, know I totally respect your choice to lay low and not participate. This is a sleuthing site. Alot of what is said here might be uncomfortable and upsetting for someone close to a victim and if you are in this situation then by all means exit and your choice is absolutely respected. But please do not attempt to scare other people into not participating by leaving veiled and unsustantiated comments in this thread as in my mind that is disrespectful to all the people that provide thoughtful commentary because they care about the victim in this case DV.
