Where is it?Has anybody else checked out the new timeline posted on Facebook?

I thought the information released said she bought the car that day and was out celebrating. It couldn't have been repossessed, she hadn't had time to make the first payment- even if it was a buy here pay here lot.
It’s usually not difficult. In my state at least (Midwest), if someone buys a car and doesn’t pay their bill when it’s due, the finance company will turn the account over to a repo company (or multiple repo companies). They will send folks out to locate and tow the car. It can happen quickly (within days or weeks of a missed payment even).
Agreed, but if the car hasn't been seen since the day she purchased it, repossession seems out. Plus, everything so far states PM has been notified of what's going on, so I don't know if they would have even attempted to repo at this time?No but she should have by now

This would change everything for me, JMO.Personally, I think one of the people in one of those cars (which, in all actuality, there were only 2 cars - this was confirmed by JDT tonight and posted as part of a timeline in one of the FB groups) was involved. That person arrived ahead of DV, left to go find DV's phone (DV may have been with this person when they left; I don't know) and returned then this person and DV both left
Me either! I did see the #bringDanniellahome and have added to my tweets!I don’t see a new TL?
Somewhat O/T but I made more as a waitress/bartender at an Italian restaurant than my first two years practicing law! I was able to work as many shifts as I wanted and could make $200/day. She may have been able to save up pretty quickly, especially if she worked every day.Yeah...was the $10,000 stored in her freezer? That's like 1/2 a year salary working as a waitress.
It was put up at 9 pm last night - gives more specifics on number of people out with DV + initials of those with her? And more specific details about what the people she was with told JDT.I don’t see a new TL?

Mostly because it would show that the person had lied. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't his story that Daniella followed him back to the bar to get her phone and realized she wasn't behind him and hasn't seen her since? If he went alone or they went in his car together, actually got the phone, and then left the Shell, he was quite dishonest about what happened. If he lied about that it seems he wants to distance himself from the situation and act like he lost her mid-drive and has no idea where she went.Would love to hear why!
Who are these mystery people that DV was with?
Why have no suspects or POI been named?
Why aren’t “friends” talking publicly? And basically hiding out?
Who is this mystery person “DW” JDT named as somebody she was with? It seems as though that’s who’s JDT is pointing a finger at.
Something about this case has me so sucked in.[/QUOTE
The FB page does show a lot of info! I hope the verified person comes back and shares.
The issue with some of these high risk car loans is that the lender keeps gps on the car so it can be tracked 24/7 and some even attach ignition kill switches so if a payment is missed that the car cannot be driven. The cars can be tracked 24/7 and repossession can happen quickly depending on the terms of the loan. These are typically high risk loans and not conventional bank loans with many consumer protections built in.Dependant on who the loan was through, I imagine it's quite a lengthy process.
