If the plane was short of the runway, as has been reported, why was it still so high in the air? From the videos, it appears the plane came in at an angle with the nose already a fireball and went nose first into the runway.

By saying the plane was short of the runway, should it not have been descending, ready to set its wheels on the runway and crashed before hitting the runway?

Why don't we see a crater in the runway? There is no way it could have been filled this quickly as there would be major investigation taking place inside that crater.

I so agree - its like they think everyone is an idiot and they get away with it

it is obserd, there is no evidence of fire on any of those runway pics they have been releasing ad nausim

they claim it was short of the runway-- so why are you guys only showing the world pics of uncharred, pieces of wreckage with no evidence of a runway burn.

I wanna know how light it was, that CCTV footage that appeared faster than a bolt of lightening, and looked looked like total darkness in the middle of the night , and like a meteroite, and in black and in black and white -

I believe that the pilot had aborted the landing and was going around for another attempt when the plane just dropped out of the sky. It’s pretty obvious that it impacted the runway, not short of it. The runway should have about 17 to 23 inches of concrete. I think that should be adequate to withstand the impact of a 737 without leaving a significant crater. There is some reports that there is some damage to the runway, which they are repairing before the airport can be reopened.

I am looking for FIRE!! On both the runway and debris ---- none

back to video the exlosion could not have have left nothing with FIRE!!

I’m not sure what you are trying to say. I think if you look at the pictures closely, you will see a lot of evidence of fire.

In a video , you folks release, where something appears to be a glow, you state this

At this point do how you even say that? Noone can even tell us the actual point of impact and what you all already did residual testing for explosives on a million pieces spread all over god knows where.

It took NTSB ages to rule in or out bomb TWA 800. Lockerbee was not "annonced" a bomb for some time. That was amazing -- they found a tiny circuit chip from the Toshiba radio that had the explosive in it!!! Amazing.

Nothing about the whole incident seems right. Just like the plane shot down that they tried so hard to hide....
Not the flightradar24. I run that from my phone. Not the black and whites. Not the way the damage was gone thru.. amazingly quickly. I didn't see much with the cadaver dogs or body bags. Or an identifiable peace of good sized fuz.
I have jazz hands and they are waving so hard at this being a red flag.
For who what and why hmmmpf I doubt we'll ever know

I dont know if we are ever gonna know either. There moving stuff out of the debris field already. That messes everything up.

Just an example of how detailed real investigators tag and record where wreckage lands.

No way can they do that IMO in two days in that weather.

And it actually gives them tons of info from the debris and where and how it impacts etc .

So they have already "skipped" that part. British Frend Candian US all do it that way.

But has anyone seen any video of where the hypothetical fireball was . If that exlosion suppossedly happened on the runway shots, I think we would see much more fire.

I was kinda expecting like the main intial impact spot to be on grass before the runway no?

So much stuff just does not seem burned "enough" from the way the balck and white video - starting to really wonder if that was actually the plane.

It will be intersting to see if they claim the recorders were "playable"

Flightradar 24, a website which monitors live air traffic, suggests flydubai's FZ981 was not the only aircraft to have difficulty landing at Rostov-on-Don last night. According to this data, an Aeroflot flight from Moscow also made several landing attempts but eventually gave up and diverted to Krasnodar.

Check out picture below here, (orange and white piece of wreckage and then look at picture of intact one - where the orange is - its like 13 rows ahead of the wings Fuel tanks. The explosion on the black and white sure looks like the wreckage on that part would have intense burning . I see no evidence of fire at all belwo.

I will see if I can get any local opinions from my dad. My stepmother is from this region though her family moved to Ukraine when she was a little girl. She still has family living there though.

Well I definitely saw 1 ball of fire come down. Before the secondary 'hit' then you have the 2nd 'hit' then thirdly the final explosion.
Anyone else's thoughts?
Still not adding up for me.
The Lockerbie flight that was said to have exploded mid-air if you look at the damage and tearing up of the land/houses. The search teams pulled up yet still fairly huge pieces of fuz. I think even there was an almost a complete engine.
Another plane downed short or overshot in UK actually took out a major Motorway (freeway). I'll see if I can find some shots..
Oh another thing.... earlier one news team were stating that the black boxes were in good condition. Which should pull up some vital information. Yet a few hours later a different media outlet are saying the boxes are too badly damaged that there's much doubt they'll be able to recover any data?

normal so-called glide slope for landing is 3 degrees, but as we can see in the video, the slope was about 30 degrees, maybe more, maybe 40 degrees.

an Aeroflot aircraft had three failed attempts at landing in between the FlyDubai’s first attempt,
majority of them were diverting.

Rostov isn’t the easiest airport to land at on an ordinary day.

flight radar data available online suggests that this aircraft was trying to take off again – in other words, aborting the landing a second time. They say that it’s on that second attempt to abort landing and to initiate a go-around that this crash happened. As the aircraft tried to climb back into the sky it fell violently and crashed.

 It’s interesting at this stage that straightaway terrorism is being ruled out largely...

Lockerbie... note even though it was blown up mid air. The crater. And large parts of plane identifiable. Even to the untrained eye.
