I just stumbled upon this Namus case from May of this year:
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

The following news article is obviously the same case; the subject was found in the passenger's seat of a vehicle belonging to another man who suffered a gunshot wound (I'm assuming this UID was shot as well, though the article is unclear):

A quick search through Namus discovered a possible match (no image unfortunately):

All physical characteristics here line up perfectly; hispanic male, black hair, brown eyes, 5' 5", 130 lbs, consistent age range. Unfortunately there is no image. This missing case is one of two siblings who are both apparent runaways. Here is the other, whose description is not as close:

There is also this unrelated missing case with a photo, though I'm not seeing similarity with the morgue image:
