Wasn't it said that someone in a boat could have extracted Robyn from the water where she went missing? QUOTE]
----------
IMO: And, where she went missing, may not have been where it was "claimed" she went missing.

You mean GG could have lied about where they went into the water??

LOL:crazy:
I do understand what you are writing, clearly
I am asking how do we know that they are not referring to the same witness on the beach

One and two are the same, IMO. Mr. Silva said both - he saw them leave and didn't see them the rest of the day - and the he saw GG that night, drunk. T

Half-truths or fragments of truth are often expressed by those under investigation when suggesting possibilities.

Yes, I agree
When people lie, its not uncommon to tell bits and pieces of truth
I expect the story is easier to remember when its peppered with truth

LE interviewed the first fisherman initially and it was reported early on in the month. Mr. Silva, at the time of the GMA taping late in August, claimed LE never interviewed him. So that would make two different reports from the fishermen on the beach. To this day we still have no idea if Mr. Silva was ever interviewed by LE. They may have done so after the video was released by later or they may have felt the other two statements were enough. They only needed two statements to disprove GG's statement that they never left the area. jmo

I really don't know
I am seeing reports from Aug 22 stating a fisherman and Aug 26 stating Silva

There are possibly reports before that

I wonder where the scratch was located, is that supposed to be throat?

The woman's friend told police, "What I thought was strange was that this man was not searching...I also noticed that he had a scratch on his thorat. It looked as if someone had scratched him with a nail," according to the police report.

One witness described it as the throat, another said chin/throat area. I would guess under the chin area back towards the throat. This is not a good picture for that and IMO it was taken the day of his arrest so I doubt if a hairline scratch would even show up in the picture. And after three days I would think it was pretty much healed over. In the US they would have taken pictures of the scratches. Also one of the witnesses said he had a scratch on his shin. jmo

I agree, its days later
Still looking for the one of him sitting on the beach the night RG went missing
I will find it

In the police report filed by Aruban authorities investigating the disappearance of Robyn Gardner, witnesses said the prime suspect in her disappearance, Gary Giordano, had a cut on his throat and blood was on the beach.

According to the police report in Aruba, Giordarno had cuts on his throat and blood on his neck when he was on the beach after Robyn vanished.

When the witness spotted a spot of blood the size of a plastic cup on the beach, Giordano -- who had a cut on his shin -- immediately said: "No...that's my girlfriend, I wouldn't kill her," according to the police report, then adamantly claimed that he and his girlfriend hadn't been arguing.

I think the photos taken that night while he is sitting on a rock or something will show more clearly if he had scratches

Second video in the article. At the bottom of the report it states "The witness says he was fishing on a beach on that day and he saw the two take a walk along the reef around 4 p.m., but they never went in the water.

A short time later, the couple drove away and he never saw either of them again, the witness says."

This was the first fisherman on the beach and he claimed he did not see them again.
Mr. Silva is the second fisherman and he was there when LE interviewed GG.
The fisherman on the boat makes three. He also saw them leave and he was interviewed. jmo

Excellent find Lambchop!!
So... we have:
The Beach Fisherman
The Boat Fisherman
and Mr. Silva
That way we can keep them straight!! LOL!

Oops! Edited to add - I see we still have a discrepancy....

The time stamp on the photo is 6:12 -- 4:12 p.m., less than two hours before Giordano returned to the restaurant to report that Gardner had disappeared.

law enforcement source said that Giordano, 50, is seen in surveillance video at 6:02 p.m. tapping on closed shutters of the bar seemingly making his presence known. At approximately 6:20 p.m. he went to the back kitchen of the bar and told someone to call police.

BBM. 18 minutes from the time he tapped on the shutters until he went to the back kitchen of the bar. This raises a question for me: should it have taken that long for him to go from the front to the back of the building?

Perhaps he just did not know what to do. Like if you have seen something really bad, some people are stunned and are in a state of shock, and do nothing for a few mins.. But 18 mins does seem a long time.

Actually - No! Here's from the Timeline - posted on page 2:

6:15pm (time seen on video) - GG knocking on several back doors.

6:16pm – (video) GG walking up the stairs.

6:16pm – (video) GG walking along the bar.

6:17pm - (video) GG walking the bar area; then walking around to the back (no footage).

6:20pm - GG reportedly headed to the back kitchen of the bar and told someone to call police. Three witnesses, two women and a man, told police that Giordano approached them on Aug. 2, saying, "Can you help me? We were snorkeling and my girlfriend is missing," she told police. One woman told police that while Giordano's sneakers were wet, his shorts were not. When Giordano reported Gardner missing, he seemed extremely drunk, a local fisherman, Sergio Silva, told ABC News, although Giordano told police that the two never purchased alcohol at the restaurant.

6:23pm - 911 received notification

starts at 6:15pm to 6:23pm until 911 was called. :seeya:

I thought there were no surveillance cameras in the back.

:waitasec: I also thought the shutters were in the front of the restaurant which did have cameras, and that's where he is seen tapping on the shutters. Now I'm really confused.

They are the doors to the bathroom that we see RG entering earlier when they stopped in to get something to eat. I believe the bathrooms are on the other side of the bar, but I'm not sure. It appears that way from pictures taken of the restaurant from the front entrance. That is where the cameras are. I believe the camera from the back which is actually the side may have been from the dive shop. I vaguely remember seeing them walking past the camera on that Monday in the video and I believe the reporter said the camera was located in the back of the dive shop. But, I could be wrong because it was awhile ago.

If, you all can wait a few months I'll be down there and can ask myself. lol jmo
